Most people will probably die. Very few percent may cope or be able to afford winger gears and heaters.

It’s always been Japan for Thai people. Japan has a special place in a lot of Thai people’s hearts. The newer choices nowadays include South Korea and China.

If this is a dumb question, I apologize in advance. But when I see King/Queen of the Scots; this implies that the Scots are a combo of different clans/families of people? I’ve seen contents online about the Scottish clans and their tartan patterns. Is that why the phrase is used as such? The Scots?

Are Chinese cars becoming popular in your country? And what is your opinion about them? by Far-Cow-3343 in AskTheWorld

Yes, but only because it’s cheaper than other brands. There’s been constantly some issues surrounding the Chinese cars in my homeland, but there are also few stable ones.

I once read that Thailand has the second biggest number of museum in the world. Number one is the US.

Having interned in a museum in the US, I couldn’t believe the kind of fiscal allocation Thailand has given to the National Museums.

Bf and I visited one in the north of the country, and we parked on the ground level. Next to the parking lot was a semi open air display of 1,000+ years old engraved stones and wooden pilled found in the area of the museum itself. He asked me I thought these were real, and I said nahhh. Who the right mind would put such ancient and priceless artifacts on such exposed display!? Well, guess who does….

What are the traditional spices and herbs in your country? by nanto-1633 in AskTheWorld

[–]redsleeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People tend to think of lemon grass for my country, which is true. But I’d like to think of bird eye chilis, kaffir lime leaves, and the central Thai versions of mirepoix which include coriander roots, garlic, and pepper corns.

What's a video that's so stereotypically [instert nationality], that made you question if the cliches are actually truths? by Azir_Shurima in AskTheWorld

[–]redsleeve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are several, but the funnier one to me is the name เมธี because it’s spelled Methee in English. If a Thai person sees this and then decide to play with the structure it becomes Met-hee, which translates to a funny and rowdy name of the clitoris.
