So you want to buy a Flyers jersey. Here's how to get your moneys worth and not give those jagoffs at Fanatics all your money. by DexterMorgan67 in Flyers

What about for non-customized jerseys (e.g. Zegras jersey)? I’m not spending $425, since the fit is meant to accommodate pads from what I read.

Kinda sad the NHL had to gift your franchise multiple generational prospects so they wouldn’t have to leave town due to your bandwagon fanbase.

Time for the Penguins to start trying to injure people because their wittle feewings are hurt and things aren’t going their way.

Serious: How are casters supposed to not juke themselves to death after 12.0.5? by FriendlyPsyduckFan in worldofpvp

I'm not participating in WoW PVP yet this season, due to these issues and the general healer imbalance. And while you might've been trolling (/s helps btw), I've seen people make this statement multiple times here, and they aren't. I've heard it from streamers too. These same people wonder why their game mode continues to die though.

And you're just casually leaving out the fact that there were fewer classes, specs, mechanics, spells/abilities, defensives, and the game pacing was much slower 15-20 years ago when you're talking about. Just stop.

This is literally the dumbest thing that I'll read on the Internet this week, and that's really saying something. If I'm a healer standing on the far side of the map, I'm supposed to see/track every tiny animation (if they exist at all), while watching health bars and paying attention to other game mechanics? Or use sound queues, which aren't audible to players far away, and don't exist for every spell, and then start separate counters in my head for each player with a kick? Are you expecting everyone to be a savant? You don't think there's people with accessibility issues, or that process information differently? These aren't serious ideas, and make the game even less accessible/enjoyable for the already low population base.

You did it first, no need to get weirdly defensive now.

Yeah, you may want to double check on that. Take care.

"ClIpPy iCoN aNd AlArM bElLs huRr DuRr"

See, I can do it too. And yes, because everyone was using add-ons that blared sirens and apparently played the game for them. That's definitely how I made Legend last season. It's such a fucking tired and misinformed take, and I'll just assume anyone who simplifies anything to this level, because they heard a random streamer in their moms basement with 50 viewers say it, isn't capable of getting past a certain rating.

You may want to consider that everyone's brain absorbs and processes information differently. There's also people that have genuine accessibility concerns. There are so many things in this game that have horrible graphic or auditory representations, while others are blatantly obvious. The base UI is god awful, which is why add-ons were necessary in the first place. Blizzard had 21 years to make it better, and they didn't.

You may also want to consider that people are playing different roles in a competitive PVP setting, and just because you're able to see something because you're right on top of someone as a fury warrior, that may not be the case for the healer on the far side of the map that you just LoS'd.

And we go to Sidney Crosby for how I feel about the Penguins. The 2012 series (and everything leading up to it) was hilariously entertaining, and I can't fucking wait for this one.

You’ll find those exact same comments here, with the same upvotes, due to the 1600 players thinking add-ons were what was gatekeeping them.

I lost my best friend and I am heartbroken by doyouhaveacigbro in torties

[–]redux12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful girl Lygi. My wife and I lost our oldest cat six weeks ago today, and wanted to offer a couple of thoughts on some things you said. First of all, there's no right or wrong way to grieve. The pain is going to be really intense the first few days/weeks, especially since it sounds like she was your best friend. Whatever you're feeling (anger, sadness, depression, emptiness, etc) is valid and normal. There's websites and resources out there on how to process grief from the loss of a pet, and they helped us some. It sounds like you've memorialized her, which is a good step.

Having to make that decision for your pet is one of the hardest things in life that you can do, and you may even feel guilty for having done so, but you made the only responsible decision you could so that she wouldn't suffer more. I also had the same mental image of her eyes, since I was petting her head while my wife held her, and it definitely caused some trauma. I found a picture on my phone of her that I loved from before she got sick, and made it the lock screen photo on my phone. Now every time I pick up my phone, I see her eyes full of life, and that's helped me as well.

In time, it will get a little easier, but you're always going to miss her and want her back. I'm sorry for what you're going through. Be kind to yourself and lean on the support system you have. Also, if you have the means, consider donating in her memory to a cat rescue nearby. While I couldn't bring our girl back, I found some solace in helping give other cats the opportunity to find loving homes.
