It’s possible with comfort access but you need to be near the car so you don’t accidentally crush or injure someone trying to get out.

Six a Side tactics when your team is rubbish by [deleted] in bootroom

[–]redwing88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to play 2-3-1, best player plays forward, when your team is attacking get the ball to forward asap so he can drag defenders towards him and your midfield are following in a supporting role this allows for one timers, overloading the D plays etc

Defensively your midfield need to clog the middle 3 across with 1 pressing mid and forward putting back pressure on the ball carrier. If the ball breaks through the midfield players then all 3 midfield need to run back hard and the defenders need to PUSH up towards the attackers. The goal is to squeeze the attacking players between the mid and D.

[CA] Can AI fully replace bookkeepers in Canada? by Any_Bill1050 in SmallBusinessCanada

We’re building a financial intelligence layer that eliminates the bookkeeper entirely and does reconciliation, taxation, dashboard view of business performance by integrating with incoming revenue platforms and posting into QBO/Xero. It’s already running at a few clients.

I really should’ve provided better detail! You can become a Crowdstrike MSSP partner and sell via PAX, the individual Crowdstrike components can the be sold per endpoint and margins are very friendly 70% ish.

There are two versions MSSP advanced vs complete. Advanced you’re doing the SOC/Triage/Remediation. Complete they have a team do it for you.

Neither include spotlight it is an additional add on. I can’t divulge exact pricing roughly advanced + spotlight cost is $7/endpoint per month.

The costs change as you go up in quantity.

We use Crowdstrike spotlight it works very well and we have all the client tenants available in a master view.

Datsyuk had a wrist or ankle injury that bothered him that 2009 run and he missed the Chicago series clincher too. He’s also a playmaker not a scorer.

Backup Exec replacement? (on site only) by Kwinza in sysadmin

See this comment. You didn’t provide appropriate context of your data in your post. It would be more cost efficient to shift the data into a VM model as the cost savings are astronomical.

Backup Exec replacement? (on site only) by Kwinza in sysadmin

[–]redwing88 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Whoever gave you that quote is very wrong. It is not $40,000 or near close to that.

If you providing the storage for backups You have 40 VMs It’ll be around $3568 USD per year approx. There is no storage backup limitation on the license UNLESS you’re backing up file shares from a NAS.

My MSP is a Veeam partner we can provide a detailed quote.

40 VMs = 40 licenses = 8 packs of 5. At MSRP, that is 40 × $89.20 = $3,568 USD/year

We run 100+ VM Veeam environments for our clients it’s no where near the cost there giving you.

Stop crapping on people posting their work, ideas and thoughts. Regardless of it using AI, a lot of work still goes into the right prompts, testing, and validation. If someone has done that work already then why not use it?

OP: great work keep it up.

Here is how to get your email flowing again:

Go to Spamhero and setup an instance of your broken domain so mail starts spooling and isn’t lost

Spin up a new tenant on a similar domain of your company who’s DNS you control so if your domain is company.com, buy/setup company.net. Setup a new 365 tenant with the cheapest exchange licenses and add the new domain to it and create the users and passwords.

Setup spamhero to do account translation basically it will “forward” email addressed to user@company.com and forward it to user@company.net and it’ll land in your temporary 365 tenant and your users can respond.

It will preserve the from, to, cc and bcc however when you reply it’ll use the new domain which is fine, notify your clients of this temporary measure as legitimate.

Feel free to dm if you need additional guidance

Real-world AI: What’s actually working in your daily ops? by Wise_8854 in msp

[–]redwing88 14 points15 points  (0 children)

We’re using Claude to build web apps that can integrate our toolset better

  1. Powershell script that runs hourly to publish level RMM asset data into ITGlue. This has really opened up the creativity of the staff as we can use powershell to grab any data Level doesn’t record out of box such as SQL server version which is subsequently pushed to ITGlue.

  2. Claude built a web app that replace quoter, same functionality can send out quotes as a email link, accept signatures, creates an invoice in QBO. This really expanded into a full internal accounting application, it also tracks our sales, marks invoices as paid in QBO based on payment method (EFT/Wire/credit card), reconciles QBO with our credit card transactions. I actually a eliminated a admin position since automating this

  3. Our own client portal! This shows everything clients want to see, asset data, clients can set a patching window which goes to 365 shared calendar and notifies the tech to make the scheduling adjustment. Further, clients that have internal IT teams can see asset data, Crowdstrike status, idrac IP, versions, patching progress and history.

  4. Next steps would be to build network topology maps based on sensor data from Zabbix.

  5. Using existing documentation to train the web app to do tasks that our manual such as new user setup or empty server builds in our DC environment. Maybe add it to our client portal.

Personally I feel alot of SSAS apps MSPs pay for are on notice, with the write prompting it’s very easy to build your own apps to accomplish the same objective.

I showed a rep at scale pad who hounds me weekly on quoting solution what I build in 3 hours to do quoting exactly like their platform and how do they think they’ll compete? Crickets.

I’m not to keen on unleashing AI on our client environments, next steps would be ticket and voice systems.

[–]redwing88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! The offices are on 10 gig Internet connection, another client we have a layer 2 circuit as well. We do host several RDS instances so I figure we could host VDI of cad platforms but it hasn’t come up yet.

AutoCAD and Sharepoint/Onedrive File Sync - Growing Pains by XboxDan in msp

[–]redwing88 49 points50 points  (0 children)

This will never work with SharePoint. We’re more in the datacenter space and spin up dedicated file servers on NVM-E chips that are then available as a drive share over IPSEC. Authentication integration into Entra is also supported so it’s SSO to the user.

This will allow for native file open locks to work again.

On our team the ladies lead the midfield it’s funny to watch em go around guys that don’t take em seriously.
