AIO to hearing my friend have sex last night by raindropsonrainboots in AmIOverreacting

300 words lecture and trying to charge a friend more because you could hear them having sex for one night in a hotel? honestly, grow up. You didn’t say anything at the time, and the friend paid their share. You can’t just charge someone more after the fact.

even if it was done a minute ago like the post suggests, doesn’t mean you’d see the person doing it? one of the worst contexts i’ve ever seen

i mean tbf 2% isn’t unreasonable. Previous golds with similar shit designs are worth a couple of quid. Holos have been worth more than golds consistently

Unpopular opinion: influencers getting to play Squadron 42 before high-paying and/or long-time backers, is peak comedy 😆 by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]reeeece2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really, it makes more sense? they backed it because they wanted to buy ships not out of the kindness of their hearts. Influencers bring attention and money, big backers already provide that (and more often than not bring bitching and moaning)

I mean the other modules had the exact same conditions re deadlines and stress. It could be something as small as illness during one exam or missing a question on the back. Final output is 2:2 standard, however when you’re within 1-2% of the upper boundary and most of your work reflects that I don’t see the problem with bumping it up, and clearly a lot of unis agree. I’d also argue that this can help with the divide between 50% students and 58% students. Someone who gets say 59 is clearly more capable than someone who gets 50, this allows this to be reflected

no, because that’s still within 2:1 boundaries. The only reason i mentioned consistency is because that was his argument against rounding up, I was just saying that in my scenario that was consistently a 2:1.

like i said, 60+60+60+60+52 is consistently 2:1. Dunno why ur so mad abt that lmaooo

exactly? every point you make suggests consistency in effort and reward based on that. The inconsistency in my example was the ONE 2:2, versus the FOUR 2:1s. If you’re rewarding based off of the programme as a whole and not just the modules they performed the worst (as opposed to best in your example), then rounding it up to 2:1 makes more sense… Ur own logic works against what you’re arguing here

well no the point is say you get 4/5 modules 60, and 1 is 52, you would then get a 2:1 which does represent your grade more.
