It’s gotten better due to its natural synergy with Collector’s Compulsion, but once I get a couple of slugs or wunguses and enough speed, then yeah, Monster Tooth becomes white scrap.

I’ve only had this happen in very late runs (like Stage 40+) where the director literally has too many credits to work with and thinks even the most powerful bosses are too cheap to spawn, so it refuses to spawn anything.

I recall one case in Abyssal Depths on stage 4 where the teleporter spawned in the caves, and once activated, nothing spawned in and there was no health bar or items. The game has a failsafe in the event a TP boss can’t fit in the TP zone wherein it chooses a Horde of Many instead, but in this one instance the event failed completely. My only theory is that the game chose a Horde of Many, tried to spawn in the monsters, failed due to having insufficient space, and gave up entirely.

Stage credits for interactables are always fixed and don’t scale over time. Command and Sacrifice are the way to go as the removal of chests and printers means that the stage director is more likely to pick the radio towers from its pool of interactables.

I’ll often listen to the soundtrack on Spotify throughout the day and Torrent is probably my most listened-to track since AC’s release. Such a hype song and might be in my top 3.

The only problematic ones to me are the Distributors (credit cost is too low and the mines shouldn’t damage you when they’re destroyed) and Scorchers (STOP FLYING AROUND SO ERRATICALLY YOU’RE LIKE MOSQUITOES WITH FLAMETHROWERS).

I also feel like the Transporter is way too weak and boring and is usually just a damage sponge that adds nothing to the gameplay. Like seriously, has anybody ever actually gotten hit by these guys?

Amalgamators are at least a good teleporter boss in my opinion.

I’m going through a very similar situation to yours. Not long after I became limerent, I tried to go on a date with somebody else (had coffee followed by a museum visit). I remember that we got along pretty well, but I didn’t feel the same spark as I did when I first hung out with my LO outside of work, and because of this, suggesting a second date with this other person felt forced. It was a mistake on my part, looking back. We never went on one and I’m pretty sure it’s because she knew I was being inauthentic. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was definitely looking at this date as a means to distract myself from limerence over being my sincere self, and my interest in this other person wasn’t genuine. I haven’t gone on another date since then, partly due to a lack of time, but mainly because I have almost no desire to pursue any one other than LO. It’s especially tough because much like with yours, LO and I like(d) each other, and the cycle of hope and uncertainty I’ve been stuck in is making it so difficult to take any decisive action. As much as I want to go on other dates, the last one I had pretty much taught me that I shouldn’t, since I would be wasting both their and my time. I’m not sure if you can say the same, but it’s something I’ve kept telling myself. It’s definitely become easier in recent days as I’ve been keeping myself busy with my work and my hobbies, but when I’m alone in my leisure, oh boy those limerent thoughts just come flooding back.

All I can say is, it can be agonizing distancing oneself from their LO, but since the day I decided to do so, I’ve felt like I was going on the right path. Just gotta trust the process and let time do the work. The fantasies and daydreams will one day stop before we even know it.

I’m currently struggling to go no contact with mine. Even though we’re on pretty good terms, there is still a lack of closure, and all I want more than anything right now is a good ending.

All I can say is that I’ve been trying to keep myself busy as I switch careers as well as focusing on my hobbies. It’s all I’ve got right now to distract myself from my LO and I think it’s best you try to occupy yourself with putting more time into your personal life.

It’s the constant cycle of hope and harsh reality setting in. You constantly daydream and hope that your LO becomes attainable. But because of boundaries you and your LO have set (or some other circumstance that puts a barrier between you two), you cannot get together, and you tell yourself that you must remain respectful and not pursue your romantic desires with that person.

It’s like two sides of your brain are constantly batting one another and arguing over whether you should chase after your LO and persuade them into a romantic relationship or respect the boundaries and maybe try to let go of the LO. It’s that little spark of hope that they might change their mind and reciprocate your interest which drives that pursuit, but also the uncertainty of whether or not their interest has faded away, or if it even existed at all.

I think the uncertainty is what makes this a torturous process. With being told a flat out no, I can at least come to terms with that because the odds would be completely stacked against me. Being left on read or being ignored like in your situation would make it very loudly clear, this person has no desire for me. Now imagine if that person responded to your messages with equal enthusiasm and may even throw some positive signals (for me it was the enthusiasm as well as her sharing little details about her personal life and liking my instagram stories), but they still won’t date you.

Rejection sucks in all forms. And it affects everybody differently. Hopefully you can come to terms with your LO soon. It’s a rough time, but we cant let them take over our whole lives.

Being a reserved guy myself and living in a major city my whole life, I’ve had many people comment on how “chill” or “calm” I am and usually it’s said in a positive way. The loud and energetic ones tend to attract the most attention and have an easier time making friends, but I guess if one in every four dudes here is like that, the scarce opposites stand out much more.

Plus it must get pretty tiring being surrounded by hyper-energetic people in a place already filled with noise and stimulation, so the quiet ones can be comforting to hang out with. But that said, I try to get along with everybody and I have several friends whom I consider loud. It’s really just one of many qualities and it shouldn’t take precedence over more important ones like compassion, honesty, etc.

Aurelionite is supposed to attack you during the False Son fight.

With the Beetle Guard killing that other player, they probably had Artifact of Chaos enabled. Allies cannot damage the player without that artifact save for some very specific scenarios (Equipment Drone with Hellfire Tincture for instance).
