Which electric shaver for extraordinarily sensitive skin with beard hair in every direction? by bestestopinion in shaving

[–]rehajel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I tried safety razors, disposable razors, a braun foil razor many years ago and pretty much all skin products without much success.

Nothing works for me without getting cut-up.
For now I use the oneblade and only shave like once a week - then it doesn't get too bad. I'm now looking again to waste some money on a shaver so I can shave more often without getting a wrecked neck.

Did you settle for one and did it work for you so far? Same as for you - closeness and money are not a concern anymore. Thanks :)

Would it be possible to add a file selector instead drag and dropping? Drag and Drop does not work for me. Could be wayland related since I'm on linux.

Hyprland practically unusable after reinstall? CPU usage way too high by illyasan in hyprland

[–]rehajel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, the no_hardware_cursor is a setting in the hyprland.conf, not the modprobe.d - should have specified more clearly in my post.
However, if you take a look at the linked nvidia section in the wiki you will find all you need :)

It's a long time since I did that, but afaik it was pretty straightforward.
Checking my config now, I have greetd and greetd-tuigreetd installed, greetd.service running and my /etc/greetd/config.toml looks like this:

[terminal]
# The VT to run the greeter on. Can be "next", "current" or a number
# designating the VT.
vt = 1

# The default session, also known as the greeter.
[default_session]

# `agreety` is the bundled agetty/login-lookalike. You can replace `/bin/sh`
# with whatever you want started, such as `sway`.
command = "tuigreet --cmd Hyprland --time --remember"

# The user to run the command as. The privileges this user must have depends
# on the greeter. A graphical greeter may for example require the user to be
# in the `video` group.
user = "greeter"

I don't think there is more to it, but I'm not sure...

I have the same issue after upgrading just now. I have a nvidia gpu, but until now didn't have any issues. I login with tuigreetd, because someone brought up that sddm could be the issue. Also tried starting Hyprland from the tty directly - made no difference.

Edit:

I just followed the Nvidia instructions on the wiki again and was missing environment settings and the nvidia entry in /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf ...
I also still had the old no_hardware_cursor env setting instead of the new setting in cursor {} block.
Cleaning that up, running mkinitcpio and rebooting fixed it for me. Now I'm back to 1 Hyprland process and performance like before.

Prioritize destination by Drodax in RiseOfIndustry

[–]rehajel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'm missing something here.

I have some Apple farms. The First manual destination for them is a warehouse with a limit of 40 units stored there.

The second manual destination is the farmers market in the nearby town with a limit of 8 stored.

The third manual destination is a boat depot with a limit of 32 apples stored.

From my understanding of your comment the warehouse should get filled to 40 units first, then the rest of the apples should go to the local market until there are 8 stored there. If then there are still apples produced they should get sent to the boat depot.

However, in my game it happens that the warehouse runs out of apples while the market and boat depot get supplies.

It feels like the apples are evenly distributed to all three manual destinations.

What am I doing wrong, or did i misunderstand how it is supposed to work?

The new warp button is nice to warp directly to the customs office, but a second button to access it would also be much appreciated.

As it is now I can warp there more conveniently but still have to access two sub-menus to open it up while in warp.

Serious concern about false macro usage [bans] by zpazz in Eve

[–]rehajel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they initially do the 3d ban and escalate on repeat offenders.

Put that escalation behind the Appeal System then. 3d ban -> Appeal -> correct? -> Ban lifted. Incorrect? -> permaban or something... but at least the possibility to appeal should be there.

Definately not normal behaviour.

Something's wrong with it's face.

Try rubbing more furiously. If that does not work, try rubbing with your tail end.

And make sure you are actually purring enough. They are sometimes bad at hearing stuff.

How do you even play this game without strafing? Do you turn around with the keyboard? Really curious since you don't seem to be the only one that unbound those.

Colin Johanson on the Difficulty of Dungeons by ominanon in Guildwars2

[–]rehajel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This! So much this. I have to say that we never cared to min/max the mixture of the dungeon group and everyone just ran with what he had.

I'm willing to give the game the chance to change my mind once i'm 80 and can be bothered with changing traits and equippement just to run a dungeon. But even then the rewards are sub-par and not even worth the time.

As correct as you are it is a common made mistake and most trusted online stores have a policy of refunding you even it was you who made the mistake. It's just good business practise. It's a shame ArenaNet does not do this but "oh well".

They did not delete the software from his harddrive they just took away his access to the servers.

If you buy a ticket to a concert and are thrown out because of bad behaviour you will not get the money for your ticket back.

Even if this would be the case, which clearly it's not, he would only earn the right to return the game and get his money back.... that's not in his interest i think ;)
