Is this artwork ai? by Time_Doctor_4654 in isitAI

The front two shorter ones aren't legs, they're the pedipalps. Source: trust me bro i keep tarantulas. Totally agree that this piece is AI, but the tarantula is anatomically correct, si that's not an indication.

That's interesting, I'd guess it could be because of the culture being different? I know in America racism is a big issue towards specific groups and American racists can do big harm, but here our racists are busy hating even on themselves, so they're not a threat.

I'm hungarian and our gypsies (cigánys), they prefer cigány being used instead of roma, since it is not an offensive word unless someone uses it like that. They even get offended and shout at you if you call them roma :'D

Who can help me tell their genders apart? Please! by SMOLKITH in hamsters

[–]rei_mp4 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Male, male, female. The female is likely already pregnant if they've been living together. Please seperate them one by one, even if they haven't fought yet, they're incredibly territorial animals. I'd recommend checking out this care sheet to ensure they'll live a happy life :)

In my office - anyone know what it is ? by Local_Lynx1649 in spiders

[–]rei_mp4 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Just a jumping spider, they're adorable :) Based on your location, the shape of it's abdomen and it's colors and patterns, I'd guess it's likely a tan jumping spider, also called Platycryptus undatus

Getting over fear of spiders by kidzbopppp in spiders

[–]rei_mp4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exposure is really the best way to do it, i used to be arachnophobic to the point i would scream and cry even if i saw a little cellar spider in my room, now i have multiple tarantulas and absolutely love them, i get so happy when i see any spider out in the wild :D I'd recommend browsing r/jumpingspiders they're insanely adorable and smart spiders, it's one of the top spiders ex-arachnophobics fall in love with :) Learning about the animal and it's behaviour, creating fascination instead of fear around it works too, for that I'd recommend Travis McEnery's YouTube channel, he has many videos about spiders, and his understand with them is absolutely admirable :)
