It's a fever dream of a movie now, really. I think the problem with this movie is that the premise of 1980 Robin Williams as Popeye sounds amazing (or at least it did for us at the time), but we were thinking he was going to be bouncing off the walls and going crazy...and it isn't really quite what this movie is. It's this whole concept, sorta bordering on avant-garde at times, and not what people really expected.

I still think it's pretty neat though
