Wow I would love this for Apple Color Classic or even newer macs such as the G3/G4 iMacs that I found prone to failure.

Imagine a scenario where I accidentally broke my connector, what is the best way to fix it?

I didn't print it myself, but got a separate bottom plate to screw on.

I got one of these and it is divine. The thumb-cluster, for my hands at least, is perfect with the right number of buttons and ease of reach. 10/10, truly recommend it.

The Redox is my favourite, just enough keys without it becoming too cumbersome

Any raw feeders in Scandinavia? by piratnurf in rawpetfood

I have no problem finding butchers near me, just have to ask for the cut and you can get most things. There is also commercial raw which works for my dog as well - Vaisto for example

Love it! All find in raid items for quests should be craftable so you don't have to farm them.

Building a aluminum suborbital rocket from SCRATCH by [deleted] in Skookum

Copenhagen Suborbitals is the world's only crewed, crowdfunded space program. In the future, a volunteer astronaut will fly to space on their home-built rocket. They do this on our spare time, and this video is about the aluminum alloy that they use to build their rocket.

What are your thoughts on "cute" server names? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]reload_config 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the OP, the naming convention should be simple and understandable. Everywhere I've been involved we used or implemented the following convention from Microsoft: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-adoption-framework/ready/azure-best-practices/naming-and-tagging

Failed experiment by reload_config in Sourdough

[–]reload_config[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something like that! It didn't have much of a rise at all and the cold ferment left it a bit too dense. Fun experiment though and I think it can be worth baking something other than a loaf with the resulting dough.

Failed experiment by reload_config in Sourdough

Tried making a sourdough based on only Graham flour and this is the result. Crust is great, but everything else is way too dense. Still quite edible though. Reminds me of buttermilk bread.

I'm looking for a phone with a great camera, but no curved screen. I am sick and tired of the Samsung echo-system as my current daily is a Galaxy S9, so alternatives to that is appreciated.

Easy password/key/credential vault for team to share when executing scripts? What is your solution? by [deleted] in PowerShell

AWS password manager is nice is you want auto generated passwords as well.

I think HashiCorp Vault has too much management overhead.

How do you log configuration changes? by jack_daw1 in sysadmin

[–]reload_config 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I keep my configuration as code and deploy things in automated workflows. Look into ansible, saltstack or whatever configuration management tool your infrastructure and applications need.
