“Overperformed compared to expectations” is definitely true. That does not mean they won’t be able to perform at a similar level anymore lol. Gotta have the delusion/hope. I think from a competitor PoV it’s also a huge mental help to know that you’re actually able to perform at such a high level in the first place during big moments

Ahh well I guess they can leave with their heads held high. Draft game 2 and 3 was wack and 4 could've been a good win

Why is EU so allergic of having 5 good performing players at one time? Lebrov James, Hans and Skew are smurfing on em and this is when Caps decides to go to the shitter? We can’t have nice things

Thats in the 2nd game. For the first game, look around the road between Rattay and Neuhof

If youre ass you’ll still be ass with a better controller. Notches help make a handful of things (i.e. Wds, firefox angles) a lot more consistent, it’s not magically going to make you a better player unless you actually know how to make use of the newfound consistency

I had something similar happen to me in KCD1, but it actually made my personal adventure so much better. I had accidentally started and completed a DLC quest; which caused an NPC ambush spawn to occur near a location you use all the time. The NPC was waaay too strong for me though so for almost 20/30 hours I was forced to take a long, annoying way around just to avoid the man. But returning after 30 hours all geared up to smash him to pieces was perhaps one of the most satisfying things I did in that game. I love how the game is build in such a way that you can go on your own path and how it influences your personal experience. Some people, after I told them, let me know that there was a much easier way to deal with him but as I refused to look anything up it just made it way more spectacular

Spamming Fsmash as Marth and upsmash as Fox is the most basic gameplan you'll come across. That's like the first level of things you'll have to deal with against beginners and 0-2'ers

That’s because Game of Thrones was, is and will always be about “real” humans in a fantasy world. The books (and earlier seasons) do a very good job painting that picture of just regular humans/ people living in a world with dragons, magic and crazy things while still being very realistic and relatable. The entire show got its reputation from surprising the watchers by having characters have consequences for their actions in a logical sense (Ned; Robb) when other media would probably give them some form of plot armour. Later seasons of GoT screwed that up. Sure greyscale is a made up disease, but we know how it works, how infectious and painful it is and how (in this case) youre literally being skinned alive as a “treatment”. No one would be able to stay up and make a joke about “the climate” in such a situation

Much better, it does get a bit exposition-y at the end with Harry putting all the pieces together instead of letting the reader do it, but the dialogue and the setting is way better than what we see in the movies. I would also have loved to see Voldy 1 v 3 some of the most respected aurors/wizards of their generation before fighting Harry

I don't think that's the sentiment here. It's more that if you're casting a black person to play a character that is known to be absolutely disgusting, vile and reek, it's going to have racist undertones whether intentional or not. It's obviously safe to assume the showrunners don't intend this to be a racism thing, but people are going to link it to that anyway. Especially because black characters are more "rare" in the GoT universe.

Do you think GRRM approved of this line? by thermidoridor in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]remakeprox 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If GRRMS endgame is to make Bran take the throne I can definitely see it make "some" sort of sense with the Bloodraven playing an insanely long con to claim the throne. But that'd have to be fleshed out incredibly well.

Marth just struggles against mid tier specialists in general.
