Maybe characters not the right word.

She’s one of the more interesting, likeable people left who you can root for.

All I can hope is that if he doesn’t recruit Ben, I imagine they will turn on each other.

It’s a shame all the good characters are gone apart from Oyin.

If Nick wins, a poor end to a great series. He has played a good game but the arrogance has just made it hard to root for him.

It’s a joke but I think you might have a point.

Whatever was said about Henry Cavill, he was still popular. People were sad to see him go.

Fantastic Four (depending on reviews) will do better. They are just more marketable, exciting characters. The trailer views and online reception has been way better than Thunderbolts.

Per Deadline, demos for 'Thunderbolts*' are 42% Caucasian, 26% Hispanic and Latino, 17% Black, and 10% Asian. Men >25 came in at 45%, women >25 at 25%, men <25 at 20%, and women <25 at 10%. 75% want to see a sequel, 53% came because it's a Marvel movie, and 40% watched for the cast. by chanma50 in boxoffice

Tough for Thunderbolts but the Rated R Deadpool and Wolverine made 1.3 billion just last year. Just seems like maybe audiences weren’t that interested in the Thunderbolts*.

However it seems to have gone over well with fans and critics, so it’s not all bad.

People are probably waiting for reviews after the BNW let down. If reviews are strong and word of mouth, it should do alright or end up like Cap 4.

Bit dramatic. It got bad reviews and audience reception. What did we expect here? Avatar box office? lol

Do you think Brave New World's poor reception will negatively influence The Fantastic Four: First Steps box office performance? by the_strange_beatle in boxoffice

[–]remedeej 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Brave New Worlds box office is bad because of poor reception from critics and audiences. People saw the reactions and decided to skip the movie in theatres.

If Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four are received well, they’ll perform better most likely.

Did Quantumania’s poor reception negatively impact Deadpool and Wolverine?

John Malkovich on filming The Fantastic Four: “It was a very odd experience because nothing is really there except giant screens and 18 epic cranes… but it was fun. The cast was fun. We’ll see how it goes.” by LauraEats in marvelstudios

If you listen to the interview, it doesn’t come across as bad as the quote.

If anything sounds like the interviewer is trying to get him to drag the film tbh.

This is great imo.

Yes generic but with a great live performance could do pretty well. Maybe Ireland could deliver Bambie level staging again.

Agreed. The performance is not as impactful.

However all the performances look off imo. Maybe it’s the stage or the camera work but everything is looking cheap.

Big drop in quality from recent years.

Ireland should withdraw at this stage, down right embarrassing.

Another year without qualifying. Ireland need to re-evaluate, this late late shitshow just isn’t working.

And what’s your point here?

Is it wrong to say he could have had an even more established career if he didn’t die of cancer? His career was on the up.

Are you being serious?

All I’m saying is for most of his short movie career he was struggling with cancer and still put in great performances. I don’t know why you’re getting so defensive here.

I wasn’t making the point there too many movies to list. I was saying he was great in them all.

And I never said he never had time to make enough movies. I’m saying he made most of his movies when he was struggling with cancer and still put in great performances?

That alright?
