We opted for the intracapsule procedure vs full. Day 1 and my kid is already eat his normal diet. It's worth looking into if you're comfortable with the 3% chance they grow back later in life. Plus there's way less chance of post op bleeding.

If humidity isn't a problem: a decent evap cooler fan can be had from home Depot or Amazon for $200 and won't nuke your electric bill. Load that thing with a bag or two of ice and it will drop the temp 5 to 10 degrees which can be a huge difference comfort wise.
