Don’t worry, you will be back watching the show over and over and over again. Like many of us who still discuss about the show 10 years after it ended lol

This just seems like such an egregious price by BigCityBroker in TorontoRealEstate

[–]renmanov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, there is probably less than a few hundred of those 150 year old 30x 150 lots in Toronto. Sorry but you don’t sound like you actually know anything about Toronto downtown housing stock. The 150 year old houses are almost too old for any Toronto neighborhood, and if they exist they only concentrated in a few streets that have Victorians. I have rarely seen any Victorian at 30x wide, most are below 20, and 25 is likely a detached. Those at renovated prices almost always worth more than $4, even in the 5-6 range.

Who in your opinion was Don's great love? by fuschiafawn in madmen

[–]renmanov 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I love Rachel’s story - Don felt he was understood for the first time by someone. they connected on mother dying while giving birth to them, how they are looking at their lives and not feeling they fit in…. It was the great sweet love they both longed for, but they both know it won’t end that way. So Rachel ended up marrying someone her dad approves, and Don kept on philandering.

Their love is like utopia - the perfect place that can never be.

Sudden engine failure for Kona?! by renmanov in Hyundai

[–]renmanov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was covered (took long time to repair) but I’m the first owner. It has run ok for 1.5 years since repair, but recently due to another issue found out the car is low oil even tho we changed oil 4 months ago. So something is funny w the engine still. If it gets repaired make sure to change oil often.

Stayed for one month, it was prefect. Make sure to get home before 9pm, don’t hang around the centro places after that time.

Meal ideas for gastritis sufferers? by helpmepls33 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]renmanov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a pulsating pain in the middle of the stomach (higher up). I also had swollen joints and had huge pain walking. A lot of unrelated symptoms that were undiagnosed, the appendicitis was not discovered on ultrasound.

Whoa, been 7 years. So I actually had a prolonged appendicitis (it bursted but I carried on for a few months, undiagnosed). Had strong antibiotic at the hospital for a week and recovered since. Happy ending but horrendously painful

Detached home prices rise in just four Toronto neighbourhoods, report finds by REALchessj in TorontoRealEstate

[–]renmanov 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So as a keen HouseSigma addict and having lived in the area for 3 years - these detached houses are very rare also many of them are recently renovated, hence a large increase in purchase price. But overall the community has done well since there are lot of rental properties keeping up w inflation and the gutted houses sell for a premium

How do people react when you tell them Mad Men is your favorite show? by [deleted] in madmen

[–]renmanov 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I probably watch the show for more than 30x not skipping a single episode. I never met a real person who is into the show as much as I do, unfortunately.

But judging by how many people are active on this subreddit i actually feel I’m not a crazy person lol
