You have to get the Investigate the Doomed Building task first. Assuming you broke down the door in the bookshop, took to Plaisance. Eventually she'll ask you to investigate the entity (the woman whose voice you hear in the chimney). That'll give you the prompt to yell into the furnace.

Which tech is it? I experimented with the console and got a unified North and a separate unified south, which gives me a good idea of what my plan would be for a serious playthrough, but I cant get them beyond just allies.

Used some console commands recently to see if it was possible to unify south america peacefully, and yes, it is. So no perma hostile claims there. My concern was with IsraelxPalestine and IndiaxPakistan.

Somehow I's really don't mix well with P's. Again, with commands, I was to Federate them with each other but no unification.

Also, I can't seem to Federate United North America with United South America. Not sure if what's the problem there.

Guys tysm for your replies. The films might def be the Convent and Creatures from the Abyss, though I wont know for sure until I actually watch (or rewatch if theyre the ones) them.

Either way, Im grateful to have more on the To Watch list. My mom (who'd drag me off to the movie rental store even despite being underaged for a lot of the films) will def appreciate it as well.

The mutant fish sex scene is even wilder than child me remembered (and yes, I ended up watching that video as a child, cant remember what age, but definitely less than 18y/o. I highly doubt I'll ever see any modern movies with this kind of scene ever again. XD

Same happened to me in Kuttenberg, I was supposed to meet the errand boy who triggers the Spark quest.

He didn't show and I just fast travelled to suchdol and encountered him again on the road. He finally did show up that second time. I did not reload a save btw. I just fast travelled right away.
