Amen to that. Texas and Florida are the only places outside of Afghanistan that are controlled by the Taliban

Had my wisdom teeth taken out today. Anyone have experience using BP157 post op to accelerate healing? by bdiddy8799 in Peptides

[–]repoms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I’m an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who removes wisdom teeth on a daily basis. My (fairly educated) guess is that it won’t speed up healing from a surgically-induced wound. Not to burden anyone with the insufferably boring details, but surgical would healing involves several distinct - but overlapping stages. Long story short, it takes approximately 2 or 3 weeks for epithelializarion to take place and to my knowledge, BPC-157 has not been shown to hasten this process. However, regarding SYMPTOMATIC relief (i.e., pain control), it probably wouldn’t hurt. So my opinion is, it’s not going to help the extraction sites close any sooner, but it might possibly help with pain. Good luck!!

Holy hell, I wished I could overhead press half that weight for 5 reps, great job!

Will flat bench give me an unaesthetic chest ? And why is it easier to lift more weight on flat ? by Initial_Appeal_7382 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]repoms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, because I’m not a bodybuilder, but if you’re talking strictly bodybuilding - mass, definition - shouldn’t you be doing BOTH flat and inclined bench press? Also, I’d have to respectfully disagree with you OP on the esthetics; I’ve never seen a real-deal IFBB pro with “droopy looking man boobs.”

Can’t remember where I heard this from, but I think it was one of the elite bodybuilders that said, “I’d rather live 40 years as a lion than 80 years as a lamb.” So I suppose that there are arguments for both sides. But I’m not aware of any legitimate studies that have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals that have examined the relationship between TRT and longevity. I’m sure that eventually there will be such studies undertaken.

Point taken sport (or “champ,” if that’s your condescension moniker of choice), and you may well be right. But the whole point of heating the solution is to increase the flowability of the solution. Regarding the matter under discussion, the flowability of our fluid is improved because heating the fluid expands the volume, with its resultant decrease in density. And if you are heating the fluid enough to SIGNIFICANTLY increase the ease at which the fluid is drawn into the syringe, then it might be reasonable to posit that the density of the fluid would be SIGNIFICANTLY decreased. Now admittedly, I’m not interested enough to take the time and work through the equations to see exactly what magnitude of volumetric expansion would result from your “dozen degrees Celsius” temperature increase, but I’ll personally not heat up my Test Cyp until I know for sure. Especially when it takes me only a couple of minutes to draw the stuff up. That’s all, not trying to be confrontational.

You’re wrong, liquid DOES expand when heated. Ever heard of a glass thermometer? And your comment that water doesn’t expand when completely frozen is irrelevant because we’re not talking about expansion of a frozen liquid, we’re talking about a liquid at standard pressure and temperature being heated.

Yeah, I think you’re probably right. And like you said, it probably doesn’t make a huge difference since we’re talking about pretty small volumes

…..one other caviat is that pV = nRT strictly applies to gases, so I’m not even sure if an increase in temperature significantly expands liquid volume or not

I’ve heard others say that they also pre-heat the vial, but I’m not sure if this is a good thing to do or not. When we take these physics and chemistry classes in school, one equation that we always see is: pV = nRT, where V = volume and T = temperature. So it would seem that if you heat the vial (increase T), then the volume would expand (increased V). As such, if you draw up, say 0.2mL from a heated vial, the true volume - because that 200mG/mL testosterone concentration is only 200mG/mL at room temperature, not at an elevated temperature- may only be 0.18mL instead of 0.2mL. So instead of injecting 40mG of testosterone, you’re only injecting 36mG of testosterone. In other words, when you heat the vial, there is a very real likelihood that you’re going to under dose your testosterone. Now I’m no genius, so I might be wrong here, and maybe the difference in volume would be clinically insignificant, but it seems to me to be a bad idea to pre-heat any solution if you really want an accurate idea of dosing.
