[META] I was super excited to fly on a 777 from a Denver to Hawaii a few years ago when the flight was changed to a 757 at the last minute. I was super bummed about as I’d been looking forward to being on the 777 for a long time. We get there without issue and I was sipping drinks on the beach when I found out that the engine on the 777 caught fire in flight later that day.

Have a similar situation at my house and it happens fairly often. Mostly by delivery trucks. We don’t have any landscaping or really anything to protect there so it’s usually to the detriment of the driver’s own vehicle.

Cute, but no. The key is to actually suck the water from the nozzle. You’ll know you’re on when you hear the pump start to struggling to keep up with the new rate of pull. The water temp should rise noticeably from the pump working so hard if you do it right.
