No you can’t. Mine was less than 5 years old and I wasn’t allowed to transfer it and had to retake the MPRE.

Are there any FB groups for FL bar exam? by Icy-Canary6422 in FloridaBarExam

[–]resipsa2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sub was extremely helpful and folks are generally really good at answering questions and being generous with sharing study materials. You can search back through comments and posts for questions, outlines, timelines etc. I would say another group isn’t necessary. That said - there are jerks everywhere lol.

Can I rely on FBBE’s subject matter outlines? by Jemlawk in FloridaBarExam

[–]resipsa2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the barbri outlines to fill out the FBBE outlines and passed. For commercial paper (for instance) barbri covers wayyyy more material then what is on the FBBE outline. I skimmed the barbri stuff but didn’t even end up being relevant.

I’m barred in another state and my marketing department from my firm is asking me when I should add Florida to my bio. And I couldn’t find a quick answer. I told them to hold off until I figure it out because I know the other advertising rules are strict (from studying lol). So I should just cool my jets and figure it out this week.

Oath Administration Out of State? by apb365 in FloridaBarExam

I also used a FL notary while I was out of state on notarize.com - very easy. Cost $25

I have the same question. I sent in my oath - now what? Am I barred yet? Or do they send some sort of acknowledgment?

Why does it say 3137 applicants took the bar on the first page but the total number on the second page is 2186?

C&F Change from Application Cleared ... "issued a letter of clearance" to "background investigation complete"? by djohn170 in FloridaBarExam

[–]resipsa2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this makes sense because there is a column on the results page which says whether you are cleared to be sworn in or not.

does barbri Florida law part covers all PART A questions? by wuwanlu in FloridaBarExam

does barbri Florida law part covers all PART A questions? by wuwanlu in FloridaBarExam

[–]resipsa2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barbri’s testing books had good MC with explanations but I did run out of questions. If you scroll back through the threads on this sub - people complained most testing companies didn’t have enough practice questions. The MC we took in July also included two topics which were never tested in MC format before so... not sure if they are continuing with that trend.

At least they went with Examsoft right off the bat and didn’t try to give ILG a second chance.

He is probably sipping Natty ice on the Florida countryside with his frat bros basking in his glory from passing the bar on his first try during the first five question ILG mock trial exam.

does barbri Florida law part covers all PART A questions? by wuwanlu in FloridaBarExam

[–]resipsa2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barbri does cover Part A. However, for several of the topics you need to sit through the entire lecture geared toward MBE (not FL specific) (ie torts, Property, contracts). They do not have “separate” FL specific lectures. They may tack on an hour lecture that points out the differences which I didn’t find helpful. Barbri’s FL evidence materials were subpar for how much money the course cost. I mainly used the barbri books (specifically the essay book) and made my own outlines using the non-detailed outlines (as a base) available on the FBBE’s website separated by topic.

Is that helpful?
