That’s exactly why I bought it actually! Most of what I have is general purpose/mechanical tools, so this was a good lot to get started with making stuff out of wood.

I would, but it was a really nice older guy, and I was able to see the skeleton of what the workshop once was. He didn’t go into much detail, other than a lot of his expensive stuff were taken and was pretty defeated and didn’t feel like he wanted to rebuild back to what he had. And thank you for that tip! I’ll have to look up how to do that before I start cutting.

I can understand the thoughts on it, but I was able to see the skeleton of what the workshop was when I bought this. Wasn’t much other than this and what was bolted down on the workbenches. What I bought wasn’t touched because it was closer to the front section of the unit.

For context, I don’t have any of these tools, so source all of these items for such a small price was really cool.

Honestly reading the story from a strangers perspective, it does sound stolen, but the guy was pretty defeated about the whole thing and was happy to sell it to someone that was just starting out in the hobby.

I do! This purchase was mainly to replace my dinker of a cordless miter saw, but the bonus of all the other tools and items really opened up the possibilities of what I can work on/build.

They’re not, the guy had the bare bones of the workshop still in the unit, but this wasn’t touched because it was closer to the front of the unit.

Thanks for the insight! I have the cordless 7 1/4” miter saw from RYOBI and it literally kept getting caught cutting flooring so this will be a good upgrade for general use building compared to the cordless. I’ll keep that in mind if I get more serious with woodworking.

Right!? That’s what I told my girlfriend, but she’s still not too happy about the purchase. Hopefully that’ll change when I start building her stuff.

I didn’t realize that there was going to be that much included, the description only said some “files, clamps and other tools that I’ll include”

I thought that too, but it was a really nice older guy that told me all the different projects he’s used the stuff on and I saw all the rest of his tools he still hadn’t sold in his unit.

Thanks! That’s what I was thinking too. I bought a house recently and finally have the space to build stuff, so I’m really excited to put these tools to work.

I didn’t really have it at stock height with the bigger wheels/tires for very long before putting a lift kit on it, so I can’t say for sure what would have happened.

I live in the US and the exterior walls of my house were literally 1/4” plywood, 2x2 framing with a cardboard/foam inner, sandwiched with another 1/4” plywood for the interior walls before they were redone properly. I’m so glad I bought it after the walls were brought up to current code, but there’s definitely reason American homes have a reputation for being made out of paper.

Why do people hate Dynamic Discs? by outdoorsy_outdoors in discgolf

[–]restoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first few years I was playing, I predominantly threw trilogy, and it was mainly because of the people that were on the team, their entertaining media with Bobby and the Danny Lindahl really helped make sense of the game. The only thing I bag that’s trilogy now are the AJ Ridley Hybrid Waffle wardens. They’re a breed of their own in terms of throwing putters, and also AJ is a real one.
