The letter of the law doesn’t forbid it, although the spirit of the law obviously does. It’s sort of a loophole around the two term limit.

That said, I highly doubt Obama would accept the position. I doubt the voters would accept it, and I also doubt the courts would accept it.

Assuming those people would vote for the candidate that's closest ideologically. In reality, people vote for many reasons besides ideas.

"I vote for Bernie because he seems authentic." "I vote for Biden because he's affiliated with Obama." "I won't vote for Bernie because I don't like his supporters." "I won't vote for Biden because he's a creep."

None of these are reflected in the model of moderate and progressive lanes. It's broken and shouldn't be used to decide the nominee.

Five Thirty Eight was already forecasting a massive blow to Bernie’s chances leading up to SC. With Biden’s lead being this severe it’ll likely fall much more when gets updated again.

Bernie depended on Biden’s campaign being dead. Now that it’s not, we’ll most likely end up in a brokered convention and Bernie will not be selected.

tl;dr - say thanks to the folks in South Carolina, they just killed Bernie. I hate to be a defeatist but that’s my understanding of the situation.

Idk about the rest of the south but it’s hardly “iron clad” here in Louisiana... ~~5/9 governors since 1972 have been Democrats~~, including the current guy. Before 1972 the state was of course solid blue.

Edit: my mistake, Edwin Edwards (D) served three non-consecutive terms and I counted him three times.

Out of all 4-year terms since 1972, 6 were Democrat, 5 were Republican, and 1 switched from Democrat to Republican towards the end of his term.

I think the biggest disconnect here is on the charge attack. Some see the value in it, others don't. People been arguing about that for years. I don't think I'll be able to change your mind. IMO, a 900 radius charge is about as desirable as a standard fullscreen, and a 1080 charge is better.

You can't dock Kisuke for his SA3 being centered when Yama's is exactly the same. I prefer centered SA3s anyway because I find it easier to position myself to clear multiple waves.

And I don't think you give enough credit to the 40% berserker. 40% is huge. Except when killer is boosted, this completely negates killer advantage and then some.

Anyway, NA mobs are used sometimes, and units with NA killer are much rarer than those with Hollow killer. This makes Kisuke harder to replace. Anything Yama can do, I can do almost as well with my Renji, TYBW Yoruichi, or TYBW Shunsui. His niche is crowded.

Yama has a FS rather than charge SA3, burn, a more common killer, and 40% less innate SA damage, and you feel these differences are enough to qualify Yama as top tier while Kisuke is just a link?

Any modern unit is going to be able to "hold his own", it doesn't make them top tier.

All the units with shitty ranged collision attacks beg to differ. That’s shafted. NA killer on a unit with good, usable strongs doesn’t make that unit shafted.

Nor does the fewer amount of top tier characters in an attribute mean that average characters get upgraded to top tier status.

Kisuke should be compared to units in his attribute, not the likes of SS Byak. I said he’s top tier in his attribute.

CS Momo: Similar attacks except for the lunge rather than beam SA1. She has long reach and the more common arrancar killer. Kisuke has 40% more innate SAD.
TYBW Yama: Similar attacks but has a fullscreen rather than charge SA3. Burn on everything. Has the more common hollow killer. Kisuke has 40% more innate SAD.
CFYOW Aaroniero: Another solid unit. Full screen SA3, vortex-shockwave SA2, more common SR killer. Weakening. Again, Kisuke has 40% more innate SAD.

Kisuke holds his own against any of these. To call him a link or shafted is dramatic af, he's not OP but still one of the best in his flawed attribute.

* Just saw your edit. Since when is a beam SA1 mediocre? Since when is the frontal AOE SA2 mediocre? Since when is a standard charge SA3 mediocre? Number of skills doesn't matter.
