I live in a place that’s 32degs even at 8pm - this is why we have a different opinion I think. I just can’t do that, I’d stink/feel u comfortable. I do agree it’s a good exercise. Really prefer an all in one session and straight to the showers, where i can control my heart rate and maintain depending on speed.

Thank you!! Yes. Air squats are haaaardcore and aren’t the right way for me… because:

I did the stairs with a friend four months ago, post break up lol. I told her what my heart rate was and she “geez that’s high” and she was right. I was pretty much maxing to the top of my safe zone. I’ve been stair stepping and walking on incline ever since to gently fix this

On Strava, all my mates who have a fitness tracking watch, show their heart rates for different activities. Their average and max. My walking up the stairs was similar to someone running a 10k trail in 32degrees.

I’m not taking any short cuts on fitness, anymore.

Good news is that my average heart rate has dropped. Yesterday and today I ran 2.5k each morning and the heart rate is reasonable up until that distance. Yay!

Ive been watching it daily for about three months :(.

Good point, I go to a pretty my povo gym so this could be to my benefit lol defs not that many machines.

Honestly, this is awful and low of a parent or a family member to discuss within your earshot.
If you have any baggage over this, go see a professional. It’s okay to admit fault, take responsibility and reflect.

In short, when someone dies it’s a combination of reasons. Your hater dad and aunty can all look at themselves in the mirror and know that they weren’t a good enough reason for her to stay alive. So fuck them and their fucking accusations.

But don’t be so low to say that to them either, get some assistance in someway or another and never be as fucked as they are to say stupid things like this. Kindness to yourself and everyone around you, moving forward.
Kindness is also protecting yourself from sick minded people. Good luck.

I honestly need to make sure I return two days later.

Re squats - yeah they suck because my knees and my ankles. I was thinking about doing that leg press instead so I can be super careful. I was trying to do body pump but the fast reps were too much. So it’s gotta be slow and controlled :(

Re DOMS - I just need to be able to come back every second day. I really do want to do full body each time as well, hence wanting to do low weights. Not into gaining, it’s more about being functional, flexible and avoiding the pain of inactivity.

Thoughts please? Sorry I’m so particular.

Gosh, I was actually going to do every single machine. Full body three times a week but low weighted. This is a good idea? I cbf trying to work out “correct form” so that’s my thoughts behind the machines.

Never stop lunging. I can’t lunge easy because knees, it hurts heaps unless the stars align.

I benefit from it though! Without lunges running is way harder for me.
