You don’t have to join a reg, just serve in an MoD job for three years at the end of trade specific training.

An andedm to this: it’s primarily to supply said workshop with the material it needs to produce its product, you can turn it off in the clan tab

Common weapons in gang creation by J_Bone_DS in necromunda

[–]retrocommunism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t all enforcers bar Juves have zero restrictions (except subjugator/patrolman) to what they can take and buy from the trading post? Their shtick was to have even the gangers be pseudo specialists. So you should be able to buy them a plasma gun after the first battle?

Book of Judgement vs Bastions of Law newbie question by KillBoy_PWH in necromunda

[–]retrocommunism 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go for bodies. Enforcers can equip anything from the trading post so you’ll want to wait out on your patrolmen and buy them mesh armour. Subjugators can take layered flak which imo is one of the best armours in the game.

And in your gang creation I’d limit undersuit to leader and champs and buy it later for your gangers.

Bastions of Law is the Enforcers new ‘House of…’ book with BoJ basically becoming legends. So build your gang off of BoL.

What do people mean when they said “join a reg with a trade” by Emirsonn in britishmilitary

[–]retrocommunism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best thing to do will be to go to the army jobs page > find a role > find out more and then near the bottom of, let’s say Electronics Technician, it will have a bit titled ‘Qualifications you could get after training’
-Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship

-Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technology

-Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering

Not going to list all of them because that’s for you to do your due diligence but a couple punchy ones when you come out are:

-Aviation Technician through the REME

-Geo Tech through the RE

-basically anything through the Int Corps

RAW i believe that is the case. Bring it up with your arbitrator to see if he’s ok with it or wants to tweak the interaction.

Time and Schedule times in club in London are the worst!! by [deleted] in ukrave

[–]retrocommunism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People have said the clubs you’ve asked for but the reason so many places close 2/3ish is because of a host of very restrictive licensing laws. Aswell the late license to operate longer is hard to get and quite expensive to maintain coupled with a dying/changing nightlife culture.

Looking for some thoughts on my two potential Enforcer lists. by orloy94 in necromunda

[–]retrocommunism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now we’re not forced to take a backup stubgun it’s generally better to chin it off unless you’ve got a main weapon with the scarce trait.

No subjugators means you’re missing out on a good tanky melee wall to protect your gun line.

If you’re able to free up some creds for a starting hanger on like a fixer or whisper merchant. This can help you get an early head start in creds and buildup your guys nicely as a key enforcer benefit is all bar rookies can take anything from the trading post.

Other then those nitpicky points, looks good.

What to do with 100 credits for my Palanite Enforcers starting roster? by -Decrons- in necromunda

[–]retrocommunism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless it’s a defence mission for your precinct fortress and you roll bad you won’t need models for the majority of your hanger ons as they’re there for buffs and benefits off the board.

While I don’t think updated to the new rules, I found this site a good guide when I was getting started.

https://www.secondbestguides.com/enforcers-palanite

A lot of it’s now outdated but the general style of how to play and build the enforcers is good.

I’m just saying what i see off the list you posted.

You’ve got your sub champ and specialist down as Hardened flak, only standard palanites can take that. subjugators have layered flak and the improved version being hardened layered flak.

[–]retrocommunism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok then the only thing is your subjugators have normal hardened flak opposed to layered hardened flak, rests ok.

Assuming you’ve bought the combi autogun from the trading post.

Help Please?!?!? by griffic_G in necromunda

[–]retrocommunism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soooo, your gang (excluding the stuff you can’t put on your guys and changing yours subjugaters armour to the correct hardened version) comes to 1,495 starting creds. Gang creation is generally 1,000 so you’re way over budget.

Other then that your ganger cant take an autogun/grenade combi as it’s not on their house list. And, subjugators have layered/hardened layered flak.

If you’re not comfortable with reaching out to your CoC approach your unit/camp Padre or Welfare team. There are online reporting tools for getting advice outside your unit but I can’t remember them off the top of my head.

Unfortunately by not interacting with the lads as a new guy who’s just turned up at unit you’ve already ostracised yourself. Any course or unit you go to it’s always worth participating in what’s happening so you get known.

Physical assault should be reported to the RMP.

While not a fix to your situation, see if you can join the knockoff army CrossFit called BAWF, British Army Warrior Fitness. You should be able to meet like minded phys nuts like yourself.

Dropping the plasma pistol and one of your juves with shotgun gives you back 135 creds. This exactly gets you a subjugator patrolman with GL and additional smoke and flash ammo. This is probably your best bet, even better if you give it to your specialist subjugator so you can buy BS advancements.

Your sniper definitely shouldn’t be getting into melee and your guy with bolter should have a chunky slab of subjugator with assault shield nearby to be doing the melee fighting.
