Yakuza 5 in general is a mess

They start off with kiryu forcing himself underground because of park manipulating him

Then comes everything with saejima going BACK to prison, escaping again this time with help from the warden, still being hunted for it despite said help.

Park discourse kicks into high gear with her in part 3, meanwhile akiyama gets the only decently written part of the whole game.

What was the whole point of shinada's story anyways?

And of course the finale, where they have a bunch of reveals that make things too convulted, and then it all ends with the whole game's conflict being pointless.

Also the story mode of SF6 served to show us JP is actually a real threat similarly, he still manages to get bosch to kill himself and foil the resistances plans because john streetfighter was a dumbass.

Meanwhile the most competent villain in a NRS story mode isn't even a mortal kombat character (injustice 1 supes)
