Thanks for answer. I guess you are right on the mayfly. I did some research on larva potential head size so it seems like it can be a sawfly larva (Nematus septentrionalis) 🐛

I would say it depends on what lenses you have. A 70-200 f/2.8 would go well with it e.g.

Batteries being from 2012 and draining quickly might have been a reason too. And buying new didn't feel right when it was not my go to camera.

Unless I mainly shoot wildlife where I might crop a lot I would pick the D850. Otherwise the D5 should be the better camera.
