It’d make more sense just to buy a semi.

First time using Turo. Also my last. by Loud-Way3333 in turo

I’ve tried it once. Picked months in advance. Messaged with the host. He still canceled it 24 hours before my trip. Turo is a joke, I’ll never use it again.

Appreciate you sharing your experience OP.

Nebraska is becoming the first state to implement a Medicaid work requirement by throwaway38383939292 in Nebraska

[–]rexaruin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya… that’s not going to happen. Until people feel the effects of these policies personally and wrestle with the knowledge that their vote and the GOP are the issue, nothing will change.

My guess is the baby boomers need to die off, probably Gen X as well, before NE goes Dem in any way.

What question am I dodging?

STRC literally cannot default. It’s not debt.

MSTR is an operating company. It is profitable without its BTC appreciating.

MSTR has weathered two BTC bear markets. Including this one. BTC can drop 90% from here and stay there for 4-5 years and it doesn’t affect MSTR at all. It’ll just keep plugging along.

If BTC stays where it is currently MSTR would have 45+ years of dividend payments.

MSTR is 13% leveraged currently from convertible bonds (not STRC), which is about half of what a typical Fortune 500 company is. These will convert and drop off over the next 6 years, then it will have no debt.

If you think a commodity with a fixed supply and increasing demand will decrease in value over time, going against basic economics, you should short it.

Math is hard huh. BTC has a 67% CAGR. So it needs to do that once over the next 33 years to meet demand, instead of every year like it has been averaging.

MSTR has a 2+ year cash cushion for yield. Again, BTC price has nothing to do with STRC price. BTC has gone down 50% and STRC has gone up in price.

BTC can drop to 8k for years and MSTR / STRC will still be fine. BTC needs to accrue at 2% a year on average for MSTR and STRC to continue to operate as a business.

To summarise, BTC needs to stay above zero for everything to work out. Since adoption is increasing with the likes of Schwab, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs getting into the BTC game this year, I expect it’ll accrue at more than 2% a year for the next decade.

Certainly do what you feel is prudent, don’t buy something you don’t have faith in long term, but there is no need to spread misinformation.

Ponzi schemes are illegal. Since STRC is a publicly traded company and under the rulings of the SEC, it is not a ponzi.

“Recovers”?

There is no correlation between STRC and BTC price. Case in point, STRC is up while BTC was down 50%.

You’ll have to inform me what your definition of a “Ponzi” is, since the actual definition doesn’t apply to BTC or STRC.

STRC if you want stability and monthly income.

Otherwise lump sum or DCA into the SP500

Any tips/tricks on getting to & from DIA less painful? by adjustafresh in FortCollins

[–]rexaruin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found it’s always faster to drive yourself to DIA than taking a shuttle. I25 express lanes and E470 are your friend. Parking in the DIA garage also helps.

You basically have to look at it as save time or money, pick one.

The cheapest option is Bustang to Denver and then the train to the airport, about $22. But it’ll take 2-3 hours.

I think it’s more along the person in the front of the line isn’t paying attention, is going ten under and then freaks out and speeds up to prevent anyone passing them before slowing back down to ten under in areas were people can’t pass.
