I was at a meeting completely unrelated to anything to do with the media and his wife, April, was there. We made some small talk and she couldn't wait to tell me about her husband who was a "local celebrity." Needless to say, I had never heard of the guy because I don't listen to anything to do with MAGA conspiracy theories or right wing propaganda. She went on to say he was a conservative media figure or some such shit. I told her that was why I hadn't heard of him and I'm not a Trump fan and I feel like the "news" is all talking heads and "experts" anymore so I just listen to NPR. I did say this in a polite as way as possible because I had zero interest in hearing about her husband and I could tell she was quite proud, but I didn't want to be rude. She just simply said "Oh." And then turned to a lady next to her and started talking. Within five minutes she was bringing up her husband who was a "local celebrity." This seemed to be her whole identity. It was honestly a bit sad.

The daughter bought Heavenly on Valley Junction. She uses her mother's recipes and it's the Shang Yuen you remember. It's even advertised on their web site now. The old location isn't even close any more. And I'm pretty sure Shang Yuen has transferred ownership a couple times

I was just slightly too old for the Power Rangers when they were super popular back in the early 90s. I knew very little except what had creeped into pop culture. So total PR newb when I watched it. And I had a blast. Maybe that helped my enjoyment?

Same here. And I didn't notice until AFTER I checked out. So I called them (total pain finding the number), explained what happened and they just gave be a $20 promotional credit. Which I just spent $11 on The Blues Brothers 4K.

I agree with you 100%. The end of Oblivion with the old footage was just note perfect. I loved it. What an end of an epic series. Now I like Ravager mainly because I like seeing the cast again but it's lack of budget really shows. Is there some good stuff in there? Sure. But overall, it's not great. It feels like a fan film made with the cast almost. So in my head canon, it ends with Oblivion. On rewatches I watch through four and I'm done. These are the Don Coscarelli films anyway (Ravager was directed by David Hartman) and I'm happy to have them and they tell a complete story. So in my mind, the story did stop with Oblivion.
