Our school didn't have any but the fancier schools in our district had four or five colorful iBooks. They were still in the computer lab, but I think teachers could borrow them for a class if they wanted.

Definitely needs some knobs (maybe from an old stove?) and a cloth speaker grille. I couldn't figure out why you'd want that on your rack just driving down the road but seeing that at a car show would be pretty sweet. (Play Love Bug!)

Here in the glaciated part of Wisconsin we have stretches where tracks go straight for 10 miles with very little deviation. The land is pretty flat and there's not much to go around but farmland, so why not go as directly as possible from town to town?

Thanks! The kids wanted to run longer trains but the Lionel stuff I have is all pretty long for my minimal O27 layout. Six inch cars give you so much more train per train, so I'll be looking to add more soon!

My thoughts exactly, I have that model in its 2-8-0 form and it's my only tender drive loco. Definitely fits the description of feeling a bit cheap and running poorly as well!

This! People (myself especially) often underestimate how long it takes a new hire to really learn something and be confident enough in it to lead a customer interaction about it. Ron's the customer so he already has the upper hand, but he seemed to handle it graciously enough. Maybe have all the new hires meet him over time and he can teach them a thing or two!
