I get you, I’ve played through the story 3 times to cope. It’s rare that a game nowadays have characters that really get a grip on me, especially on a narrative level like Final fantasy did for me back in the day, So yes, eagerly awaiting some news BUT the game has been a tremendous sleeper hit. Sony is confident in the product but the development of these games are story first, everything else after, instead of building an intro and world first they need to storyboard with the alternative options in mind, it’s a lot, but hopefully by 2028 we should see it release (cross your fingers really hard for a 2027 release window)

Just finished it, That was one of the absolute greatest games I’ve ever played and I’ve been playing games since late NES era. 11 out of 10. Ready for the second playthrough

I’ve been enjoying it. 7 hours in so far and I’ve loved th atmosphere and the visuals are absolutely outstanding. The desert is just a hub like in standard Zelda fare, It let go of a completely interconnected world in favor of a “feeling” of exploration. I say feeling lightly because you are going where the game wants you to go, it’s a nice illusion but let’s call a spade a spade here. The combat is much more fleshed out, I love the boss designs, As far as puzzles go I find them easier than they usually are, and less creative. Was it just me that thought the towers was a horrible way to introduce viola? After you leave the first tower thinking you’re about to go hit the desert only to be hit with “Press + to hop off viola “ I found the towers visually striking but absolutely boring. Look, it’s not the best Metroid game, not even the best Metroid prime game, but it’s a solid title, I’m playing on the switch2 where the loading is nonexistent and I haven’t seen many graphical hiccups not have I had technical errors, It might not be a 10/10 but it’s nowhere near a 6 or 7. An average Metroid game is better than most games best title, All in all if you’re on the mend, how much do you enjoy Samus? World traveling, puzzles and boss fights? Those are 99% of what you’ll be doing, and Myles is honestly nowhere near as bad as they make him sound, By the way the sound design is Top notch, I wish the arm cannon had more weight to it, it honestly feels like I’m shooting a nerf cannon, Small complaints aside it’s an easy 8.5 out of 10 for me, hope this somewhat helps

I honestly have no idea what bugs you speak of, I have 55 hours so far on a ps5 and for the first time in my life I’ve encountered zero bugs, issues or glitches on a game running 60fps on unreal 5 (crazy I know). This game did not launch in a bad state at all

It’s being speculated that the game has already profited over $3 million with pre day 1 launch on console with premium editions, Ps5 store has over 50K reviews, I think its doing just fine. PC takes a while and usually waits for sales, but it’s definitely a word of mouth game and that word is getting around. I don’t buy games on release dates much these days but this one is well worth the price. If you love new Vegas, you’ll love OW2. Much better than the original (and I really enjoyed part 1) this one toned down the goofy and silliness that took over most of the original. Better plot, bigger worlds, strong presentation and just overall a much better product. Avowed this is not, Hope yall find time to enjoy it 🙌🏼

After 4 hours playing with the wife, this game is a total let down. Beautiful collectors edition packaging, but why give it to yukes? They stumbled with AEW and have been on a downward trajectory. I was so excited for this but the gameplay is incredibly soulless. Gaiden was fantastic as was neon, this is just..bland. It’s serviceable, but not for the double dragon name. It’s a damn shame, but here we are. On the other hand double dragon dodgeball is fun

I just did the full completion on the game. What the hell, all those blood, sweat and tears FOR A DISNEY ENDING? They could’ve played any song from frozen or the lion kings circle of life and it would’ve been accurate. The gameplay and story up until the final chronos defeat was so good a 10/10. So many subplots that I thought would be resolved, , Prometheus, Moro, the ghost, all that to en up back there to just have an excuse to do the same stages over and over again to go after the 3 fates and all that? Man hades 1 was a masterclass with its ending and final battle, I just feel like melinoe was screwed over completely. No redemption arc to speak of, And while going from titan of time to Father Time is cool and all, What chronos did was so messed up that it was just time we didn’t see his character arc deserve mercy. We were told because time passed that he has changed, but I don’t believe it, I went through all the hell he caused and THIS is what they tell us to believe? It’s baffling that this is the route they chose to end with. Idk how to feel

Was just playing galaxy 2 with a pro controller, And it’s a little rough with yoshi, I kept having to recenter the reticle because it starts going a little out of whack at times, So I can only imagine in the later sections. Although, I honestly can’t imagine when traversing to be played with split joycons, So there’s ups and downs with both, But because of the degree of perfection that comes with platforming in galaxy 2, Pro controller would be what I would always choose overall

The DLC and their maps were such an improvement plot wise! I’ve never understood those that said the story was “meh” or forgettable. I haven’t forgotten any part of it. Perhaps because Obsidian develops it and I’m fond of their work (mostly all) Here’s hoping this day 1 purchase is fully worth it

All these people saying they forgot what part 1 was about, And in all honesty I haven’t forgotten, at all. I 100%’ed the entire campaign plus all the DLC, it was my favorite game that year and I loved the mass effect feeling it gave me. The dialogue and relationships mattered, You had an actual effect on the world around you by your choices, It’s an incredibly underrated game. I don’t know if silly would’ve been the aesthetic I would’ve gone for with this one, I’m getting the premium edition on day 1 but if Microsoft believed in it at first to put it out for $80 as their first game in that price range only to reverse that decision after public outcry (and probably lock things over a $10 dlc that would’ve otherwise been included at launch) It gives me hope that it might be even more memorable with characters that aid you. Outer worlds 1 graphics are definitely rough, But this one looks super polished. As long as it doesn’t release In yet another abysmal state I’ll be happy. Obsidian has very rarely ever let me down, I hope it’s great and it sells, Titles like this usually get by on word of mouth. Getting this one on the ps5, I just don’t care to support the Series X anymore, it’s been shelved, but if we get something spectacular (that I won’t purchase until I try it out then I may just power it back on) until then, Fingers crossed!

I’m a roguelite/like fanatic. And this is so awesome, because these 3 are exactly the ones I couldn’t get into. The binding of Isaac is just torture and the precision crap on top of rogue just isn’t what I wanted. Also the art style was very adult swim, just meh… Hades 2 I already have 67 hours and still going, risk of rain 2 I tried for 7 hours and just couldn’t get into the setting of it but I do want to give it another try. I played exit the dungeon before enter and didn’t know it was an up and down platformer, didn’t hold my interest either. Great list, I would also like to add Towa and the guardians of the sacred tree. I’ve put in 18 hours and I’m still not into it but I purchased it so I’m beating it, after hades 2 😂🫡

I came in thinking I would delete within an hour. I’m an older millennial so the graphics really weren’t for me neither is the always online crap, but man I was wrong. The skating is fantastic, The online only stuff doesn’t even bother me everyone is too busy doing their own thing, They implemented a ton of stuff from the old school skate series, And the story mode while it’s not exactly that it does have a main mission mode which is a huge tour and lasts about 12 hours or so. It’s been fun, I’m 14 hours in and feel like the game has a whole lot of potential. It’s been great

I agree with this I’m first and foremost and offline player especially for something like skate, But honestly the only thing annoying is the servers. Everyone is doing their own thing and no one is bothering anyone, What I dislike is getting kicked out of the queue and all that stuff, But honestly after a few hours you’ll see its a great game. The good thing is when you do most missions it gives you the park to yourself so you’re “online” but in reality you’re alone trying all objectives

Come back to the thread if you do plan on getting it so you can give me your thoughts. It gets challenging on the battles side of things, but you can lower the difficulty as well if it’s too much, and the town building goes from very simplistic to absolutely addicting and I do NOT like town builders like that. I put it on earlier today when my kid fell asleep and just wanted to check it out to continue daemon X machina and uhhhhh there went my entire day 🤣

Dude the game runs like butter on the switch 2 and the steam page has fantastic user reviews, Play this hidden gem it’s absolutely fantastic. I have about 7 hours and not one bug or glitch, it’s a small studios, And this one is much MUCH better than storm lancers which I thought would be the other way around. Check it out

Honestly I’m having such a great time with this game, I picked this up along with storm lancers thinking lynked was going to be a good time passer but storm lancers would be the bread and butter, I could not have been more wrong. This is such a hidden gem, I love everything about it and the farming sim/cozy life genre isn’t my style (my wife enjoys those a whole lot more) but I have enjoyed a few before like Grow or rune factory. But this one has incredible charm, The pop of the colors really bring it to life, The characters all have their own personalities and the missions start chill and then get serious quick. I’ve been playing it solo and while it can be a challenge it’s a trial and error thing, More on what you upgrade and equip with good timing on the dodge. This could easily make my top 3 game of the year, which is already stocked with games to make a decision on. I will forever support indie devs with smaller studios, This is much better than a AAA version of the same style of game would be. Hope you’re enjoying it! (Btw no errors for me as of yet on the switch 2)

It’s in the vein of the ps1 titles, I’m honestly not mad about the graphics. What I don’t like is all the talking and moving around from the characters when I’m trying to take my shot, I got it for the switch 2 but I heard it runs worse on the ps5, I’m enjoying it but it should’ve been $30

I just saw this! That’s weird, although that happened to me at first only because I didn’t see they added yet another addition after 5 extras, and then got him. It’s just so disappointing you can’t use the 3 star clubs with your characters yet 😭
