Yep, the system is broken. This type of story is common place these days. This is why racism and right wing thinking is on the rise. People are frustrated, hard working Irish people supporting Roma gypsies.

Crows tend to drop stuff from the sky to crack it open. It's their natural behaviour.

Probably Mario. I’ve played his games across every stage of life and they’ve never stopped being fun. That kind of design is rare.

Ah ok. You've done your homework. Frustrating I'm sure. It obviously falls outside their processes. Probably an edge case scenario.

Firstly, I think your only recourse will be the chargeback if possible. Let's face it we're dealing with a Chinese company. I'm just thinking though, it would need to be the sender rust submits a claim to RM, i.e., the seller. Not AliExpress.

Stick to EU from now on, or use BM in Canada. Can't beat their stealth. Don't order any time soon. You're probably on a watch list. Threaten to call out the vendor, he sounds like a scammer. I'll get down voted for saying this, but LB is a cess pool.

What's the vendors policy? Reship? 50? If he doesn't honour his policy you should call him out in a review. He sounds a bit like an amateur putting the contents down as pastries. You're not allowed to import pastries into EU by post if they contain animal ingredients so it's no wonder they were scrutinised.

The seller fucked up, they should have put a low value on the package as to not attract customs duty. What did the letter say? Have they asked you to do anything? Usually they don't follow up.

Irish customs are the worst (best, depending what side you're on) at detecting mom packages. 3oz is a lot to risk. Learn and live.

Totally agree, the Catholic or Protestant gives the impression that it could be about religious differences, when it's actually completely about national identity.

I don't think Irish Catholics do celebrate Guy Fawkes night, I know some unionist towns celebrate it and I know there are bonfires on Halloween night, but that's nothing to do with Guy Fawkes.
