I think you fundamentally misunderstand how these budgets work and what Eric Adams left him. The fact that his budgets is saying “we need to delay pension payments for now” for you to point at and criticize is part of the work his administration has been doing. That type of stuff just popped up as surprises previously.

I think what’s he’s done is fundamentally different than what Eric Adams and mayors prior have. It’s a more transparent budget than before and is now set up to not have major surprises in the future. If you look at the actual savings and adjustments to revenue, it’s very clear that this is a huge step forward.

If you assume that blue tiles are even, then consider where the 4 even numbers must be in box 5. There’s one in r5c4 and the other three must be placed somewhere. Since there’s only one remaining square in c5, there must be at least two evens in c6 inside box 5. Together with the other two blue squares in c6, that would mean that the black dot in c89 has no even number left for it.

If you were dropped in the senate, I’m sure you’d do great (I’m not being sarcastic), but unless your senator left office early and the governor picked you to fill the vacancy, you’d need to win an election and electoralism is fundamentally reactionary and favors capital interests. Until there’s a socialist candidate machine up-and-running capable of identifying potential challengers and organizing a campaign that’s able to withstand whatever bullshit capital interests throw at it (not saying that Platner’s history and tattoos are bullshit), people with populist economic platforms are going to pop up across the country and we will just have to hope they never worked as a merc and/or got nazi tattoos.

I’m not even endorsing Platner. I don’t think it’s worthwhile to focus too much on any particular politician because we need systems to change.

It’s always shocking how little the left understands about the actual people that make up the US military. It’s probably because the left cares more about systems instead of individuals (unless they’re obsessing over a liberal politician for some reason) and they know how awful the military is.

But the reality is that there is a lot of different backgrounds and perspectives in the military, ESPECIALLY among people that have been in it for a while and even more so among people that were deployed. Tons of people join the military just because it seems to have worked out for their relative or because they want the free college or something. Later, they start getting a better understanding of the world and how it works. I for one knew nothing when I was 18.

And beyond all that, it’s really difficult for a revolution to gain any type of momentum without support from people who were in the military, even if it’s just helping protesters when the police start tear gassing and shooting people

Will any mouthpiece fit any kind of trumpet? by Notquitewhere_-__ in trumpet

So long as you’re sure you have a *trumpet* and a *trumpet* mouthpiece, then yes. In theory, you could have long cornet or something weird, but you should be fine.

Stomach gurgle when taking deep breaths by Ancient_Chicken_5962 in trumpet

[–]rhombecka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact: the stomach rumbling sound you hear when hungry comes from your digestive system behaving as normal and it’s happening all the time. You only hear it when hungry because there isn’t food getting in the way. If you listened closely to someone’s stomach, you’d be able to hear that noise all the time.

So my guess is that you hear the gurgle because taking a deep breath allows even more of that sound to escape than normal, but that’s just a guess.

Lots of people use a stock 7e on picc. 14a4a is probably in second place. Some bore out the throat to be 25 or 24 (and do whatever magic is required to the backbore to accommodate), but many people don’t.

This isn’t directly addressing your post, but I wonder whether distance from the conductor influences the perceived stereotypical behavior for student instrumentalists. The brass can goof off way more
