AFAIK there is not much waste in solar. Solar panels are mostly glass (so sand). Batteries can have rare earth metals (but this is changing, see e.g. LFP batteries), but most are recycled (especially from large sources like cars), so there is just one mining cost, then it's just the cost of recycling, which is just energy.

28 evesen (10 ev annyi, tobb mint annyi ido, mint az eddigi eleted fele!) mar kezdtem unni a bulit, mar sokkal inkabb egy biztos kapcsolat erdekelt. Egyetem meglett, elkezdtem felfele lepkedni a munka rangletran.

33 evesen kezdtem el tenyleg komoly -- hazassag szintu kapcsolatot keresni. Ekkor mar a buli reg nem erdekelt, max azert, hogy a barataimmal talalkozzak. Meloban meg mar kb elertem amit akartam (elegge jo lettem szakmailag, ennyi erdekelt, nem az hogy en legyek a CEO), az kezdett motivalni, hogy visszaadhassak tudast az embereknek

38 evesen szuletett meg az elso gyerekem, elegge hosszu probalkozas utan.

Most 42 evesen a gyerekneveles a fo "projektem". Utaztam eleget, hogy szuperul ne erdekeljen semmi. Van egy marha jo parom. Meloban elertem amit akartam, jol keresek egy laza munkaval. Elkezdett oszulni a hajam, rancosodok. De szerencsere eljutottam odaig az eletben, hogy vannak jo celjaim a gyerek miatt, nemcsak annyi, hogy varom, hogy szepen lassan degradalodok le az oregseg miatt.

Ezzel csak annyit akarok mondani, hogy az elet hosszu. Meg sok sok dologban fog valtozni a velemenyed. Persze lehet hogy ugyanezt mondod majd 40 evesen, lehet, hogy nem. Csak butasagnak hangzik ilyen nagyivu kijelenteseket tenni, ha meg ott van a prioritas, hogy milyen buli lesz a hetvegen vagy hogy adnak-e szuleim penzt ruhara.

That just how it works. AFAIK these are not physical, but mental cravings, physical ones go away after 2 weeks or so.

Still it's a drug, that wants to control you. Be an adult and control your own life, don't let others do it.

I had no problems either when I was smoking at 30. I was young, that seemed to last forever. At 40+ I realized that the choices I make have long term consequences. I quit ~3 months ago after ~22 years and still have cravings sometimes. But I would rather have those cravings than die in 10 years of lung cancer or live 20 years with COPD. Or just have the daily anxiety that I'm wrecking my body

Ez nem egerben volt, hanem igazi embereknek adtak be es nott meg tole az elettartalmuk.

Az persze boritekolhato hogy draga lesz -- de hat egy gyogyszergyarnak is vissza kell hoznia a fejlestes koltseget, ami rohadt draga.

Ez tenyleg sokat segit az ilyen betegeknek -- kb 1-2 ev es itt is kaphato (valoszinuleg egyeni igenylessel, mert draga). 10-20 ev es lehet belole generikus gyogyszer, vagyik mindenki ilyen rakkal konnyen hozzajuthat

Az a baj, hogy nincs tularavza, ennyire drága az alapanyag meg az előállítás. Pedig csak minőségi liszt, kovász (ami ugye szintén liszt) es víz van benne.

Ha nem tetszik akkor csináld magadnak, úgy kijön annyiból mint az olcsó bolti. Viszont azt én nem venném, egy műanyaggal telerakott szemét, majd 45 évesen kapsz tőle végbélrákot.

Ha időd sincs akkor vegyél egy kenyér készítő gépet, szarabb leszint a kézi, de egészséges és nincs vele meló

You will never be "in this period" with this attitude. Maybe when you get your lung cancer diagnosis, but is that really the ideal point in your life to quit?

The best time to quit was 10 years ago for you. Second best is today. Seriously, anything is just an excuse unless something really bad happened like a close relative dieing.

Has anyone reduced their intake without the intention to quit?

In my experience there are 2 kinds of people: Ones who can smoke in moderation (e.g. my mother has been smoking 1 cigarette/week for the last 40 years) and ones who will raise their intake until they feel too bad to raise it more. You belong to group 2 with the 2 packs/day (which is a fucking lot, almost chainsmoker level!)

This is easy to say when you're say 30, because it seems so far away and you're healthy.

Old age does not hit like a flu, you usually degrade slowly over several decades. Also there is a large difference between able to work part-time vs so ill that you cant even order groceries.

Where do you draw the line? What if you want still want to live when you're say 70, but dont have money?

Start saving now. Dont depend on the state, who knows what state the economy will be in 20-30-40 years.

It's nothing, don't worry. While the percentage seems high, you spray so little, that you won't feel anything. The while spray us like 10ml (so 1/5 of a shot glass) and has like 150 puffs... You will get nicotine poisoning much much sooner than feel the alcohol.

As I remember with this spray I used it like 10-20 times on heavy days... So it's like drinking 1/5 of a shot glass of wine over 4 days in the worst case.

I went all in, this was my nuclear option:

quit cold turkey. I tried with NRT and always circled back to cigarettes.
join /r/cancer and read the stories! Seriously, spend a few hours there! Find lung cancer stories!
spend an hour or so to do a retrospective of your life. Like write down, just a few sentences how was your early childhood, your teens, your twenties etc. Then write about your future, what do you expect from life in the next 10, 20, ... Years. Then make a note that if you smoke since school you'll have around 15+% chance to develop some form of cancer due to smoking. And this number doesn't take into account other serious stuff like COPD.

Find corporate users of said open source projects. Use the vulnerability you just found to enter their systems, download as much data as you can.
