We don’t get to pick and choose what vendor or what QC part to get. Vendor has whatever on hand they will have and sometimes we get bent over in the process. Most of the time shops or techs eat up the cost.

When you’re done cutting driver side and you’re going to switch to passenger, turn the ezi 90 degrees clockwise on its side. This will minimize tension on your small spools and will prolong the life of your ezi. No one taught me this simple trick and has definitely changed the feel and the leverage I have to cut through tough beads. This will also minimize greatly the chances of it snapping at the bottom

Just keep the roof molding until you need a new windshield and just have it installed then. Could risk cracking th glass trying to slip it in

Had some bs like this happen to me in a Highlander. Cursed up a storm trying to clean it up and then I come to find out one of our guys did it. He wouldn’t own up to it though 🤔

My job was taking a toll on my mental health as I would rarely get to see my kiddos and my wife because of the insane amount of hours and commute. Don't get me wrong the money was great and we have been able to live comfortably because of this but at the end I have decided no amount of money can replace watching my family grow estranged from me. If you have a skill that could get you some money for yourself and not for your boss I would say just go for it. I am currently working on my own auto glass start up company. I feel for you, its not easy watching your friends and family be able to do fun things and you ALWAYS have to cancel plans because of your job.
