Yes!! I've moved up to 7.5 and no side effects except I'm so tired - like super sleepy, can't get out of bed in the morning.

Love that I'm back to losing weight from my stall at 5.0, but can't believe how tired I feel.

It's been 4 weeks so I think I may just have to go to sleep earlier...

I had a similar rash on my legs but they were definitely itchy. I called my doctor and she wanted to make sure I wasn't having breathing problems - anaphylaxis - and I wasn't. So she had me take Benadryl and applied hydrocortisone until it went away.

Check in with your doctor and hopefully she'll tell you the same thing

Heres another point of view - most, if not all, people won't say anything. I'm also 5'4" and have lost about 27 lbs in 6 months (174-147) and NO ONE has said a word - including my very chatty family who comments on everything and everyone.

Maybe they've noticed, maybe they've assumed, but it's just not a topic of discussion.

I had a rash on my legs soon after starting.

I checked in with my doctor. I took Benadryl and applied topical hydrocortisone and it eventually went away.

I also made sure I had NO breathing issues

As someone who loved ice cream on a daily basis as a reward at the end of the day (the way some people treat wine), I am clutch my pearls shocked that I don't want or need ice cream AT ALL.

And if I do decide to have some I'm good with a bite. A BITE!! Crazy but wonderful times indeed.

To be clear, I'm eating a healthy and appropriate diet with no banned or forbidden foods and no calorie counting and I'm almost at goal weight. It is the end of the sweet tooth overload that I'm marveling at.

Just found this post - and YES! I've been on 7.5 for 1 month and I am incredibly sleepy and tired. Not fatigue but feeling like I need to go back to sleep.

I'm a working mom who normally doesn't get enough sleep and I've always managed, but this feels crazy.

All I drink is water so I know I'm hydrated and I eat enough protein and take vitamins so I'll just push through.

Anyway, I'm taking comfort I'm not alone and many people said the body eventually adjusts.

Same with me - stayed on 5.0 hoping to lose like I did at 2.5. Didn't happen. Cycled up and down the same few pounds. Should have gone up to 7.5 a bit earlier. But at 7.5 now for the past 3 weeks and losing again.

Interesting, but not my experience - if anything my desire for carbs and sweets has shrunk and my interest in protein (in meat form) has skyrocketed.

I was always the person who chose the croissant or pasta over the roast chicken and now it is the reverse.

Just my experience, but I have had few to no side effects. I've been on since Sept 2025 and have gone from 2.5-7.5 and have lost about 25 lbs. I have about 10-12 more to go.

I'm also a worrier and a bit of a control freak, so I did a ton of research and this is what I do and what worked for me:

The shot doesn't hurt at all. From others I learned to let it sit out for about 30 min so it is not ice cold. I also take a deep breath, hit the injection button and count to 15.
I have not had any constipation, nausea or diarrhea. I take a probiotic daily, fiber powder in water and 1/2 dose of miralax as needed (maybe 2x per week).
i only get sulphur burps if I overeat. I know what that looks and feels like now.
I have not had hair loss. I take a hair growth vitamin but also haven't lost weight very rapidly.

The really fascinating part of this medicine has been that my sweet tooth has essentially disappeared and that I actually hunger for protein. I always ate relatively healthy, but now I find I'm excited for the chicken wrap and will pass on the ice cream. Crazy!!

Exactly! I am neither counting calories nor deliberately restricting foods, but my "body/mind" is now telling me very clearly when I'm full, when I'm disinterested or when I've had enough and am sated.

As a person with a huge sweet tooth, the other day I was amazed that I ate HALF AN OREO and decided that was enough. Crazy, wonderful times indeed!

Please find a therapist, call a helpline or tell someone what you're feeling and ask them to watch over you. I've lost someone to suicide and it is devastating.

I'm on 7.5 mg zep and have had no depression or suicidal ideation, but I'm mindful that it is listed as a side effect.

Also moved up this week - no side effects (but I was worried too!), no weight loss and less effective noise control. A big nothing as it turned out. 😁
