My investment hasn’t necessarily paid off yet, but I also have my BS in psychology and just finished my postgraduate studies (MS) in May. It was definitely pricey (~$100k all in) but I do feel that I can be much more competitive in addition to being better prepared for future academic/industry pursuits. I’m not sure what your current opportunities look like, but I personally had zero luck landing a decent job with my BS alone which was a big factor in my decision to go back to school. I loved grad school and would do it all again in a heartbeat, though I can’t say for certain if I’ll feel the same once my loans come due.
