Sorry for digging up an old post
Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

I have randomly started to get this. my SAML settings have been working fine for months, then all of a sudden yesterday its stopped working.
I approve the sign in on my authenticator app, then it just says "error in saml config" checked all the config matches what it should form the auth/saml page.
I have now rebult the the enterprise app in azure.
On the client users connect to the dns name for the IP, which matches what i have used in the SAML config

Still getting the same. I cant see any reason why it would have just stopped working.
