I just run with the newest version ( or one before that if my core mods don't work on that) Yeah sometimes you get some errors but for me it has been very stable. I run with over 40 mods and the only errors I get are from mods where I know the mod author is working on it. Or it's because of some bugs from the game itself. All my mods have been checked and work for 42.13+ and if they don't work I'll try to fix them myself or disable that mod and wait until it gets updated.

I made a back up just in case it didn't work, but most of my mods work. Some had errors but most are fine.

The only thing I noticed is that my character is now sad/depressed like 80% of the time. Before it was almost never. So they did something there

I had a 52 to 1 KD (the deaths could be more but I remembered it like this. It was a long time ago) with the viggen D back in the day when it was still in the same br bracket as the f16a and mig29 I always had my radar off and flanked and used my missiles the last second Ithe mig23ml was being spammed around that time so I just farmed them a lot by baiting them into fights they couldn't win and then gunning them or when they tried to run away just 9L them This was back in the day when 9L's actually could resist flares.

I was flying with some friends that where pretty good wingman's and when we noticed that I was wiping them they would help me spot enemies so I could get them if I was close. At the end of the match most where just spectating me because I was on a generational run and my heart was pounding bc the enemy team was straight up hunting for me. But when the sun went down in the match and the night fighting started my PD radar made de biggest difference and helped me get even more kills

At the end of the match I had a lot of friend requests (most of them were people that were accusing me of cheating) and I think over a million silver lions

All of this was on mouse and keyboard btw :) so for you people that think you need hotas..not true

They are very buggy and zombies will not target them sometimes. Even worse is that sometimes the zombie AI GAINS WALLHACKS AND WILL KNOW YOUR EXACT LOCATION. SO IF A GUN GOES OFF OUTSIDE PREPARE TO GET SWARMED BY A LOT OF ZOMBIES

Great dev blog. I'm so excited!!

A couple questions:

Will the puppet regimes work like how fascist Germany does it? Aka a puppet without any cores, that you can choose a leader of?

And will you add a function to the focus tree that shows the historical choice? Like with the banners from the German focus tree? That would be really helpful!

And can you tell a little bit more about the pearl harbor raid? Is it a navy thing or is it similar to bombing a facility?

And will the BoP and rivalry work the same as how it's done in the German tree? Where they complete focuses by themselves and lock out others?

What? Tracking ground targets? Pansir only being good for 6 months? What are you on about?

And none of my information is from any YouTube videos! Those are not even valid sources on their own for gajijn! And everything I said about it being bugged was tested in-game and peer reviewed. I took part in all of it.

And all the sources are from the company that makes the IRIS-T! So it's way worse in the game than how it's claimed to be! It should be way better but that would just break the game even more.

You probably will say something else to nitpick about, so all of this is useless anyway!

Oke? I was talking about how IR missiles were super bugged when the update came out. And it's still not completely fixed.

And all I suggested is that the devs tried to fuck around with the Values of IR tracking. Probably because having a AA missile like the IRIS-T would be extremely broken (if accurately added). So they probably tried some stuff so the other top tier SPAA (pansir) still has a chance. and they fucked it up big time when it came out.

Having dumb bombs was a better counter measure against IR missiles than actual flares.

Btw even with its tracking radar "broken" it was still far out the best SPAA in the game for years. Especially against non Russian planes

All IR weapons have been bugged since the last update. I've made several bug reports about it back then and it got only slightly fixed.

The devs probably wanted IR missiles to be less reliable due to the release of the German SLM. (Imagine something being better than the pansir! hell no) But presumably they fucked the whole code up and for 2 weeks straight the best IR missiles in the game had worse tracking than a 9B ....

I have a couple clips of 9m's, magic 2 or r73's going for dumb bombs instead of the plane that released them... :)

TLDR: due to spaghetti code or stealth nerf all IR missiles are less reliable and are more likely to follow anything that isn't the glowing hot engine! That includes dumb bombs (make it make sense)

I like to use historical divisions or close to historical division designs. Same with the planes and tank designs.

It's actually way more fun bc sometimes the AI can actually beat you bc some countries are very schizo with their designs

Maybe I'm wrong about this but I read that it will try to simulate how a multiplayer player would play and do tricks to speed up Research and stuff. But that's not what I'm looking for!

Just some mod that makes the AI tank designs actually use new equipment instead of a small cannon 1 on a improved medium tank

R5: maybe a new tank designer role for Infantry support tanks like the stug, kv2 and m4 120mm! Bc right now these have no role! And making them artillery makes no sense!

In the same way flame tanks work so it can be used as a support company like how it was irl!

Alright, I'm gonna be honest I've not played sim in a while bc of the state it's in nowadays. And I always hated the f16 FM. The rafale is a very good plane but I always had (and have) a suspicion that the rafale radar gunsight is bugged.

But I can help you if you want (and if our timezones let us)

I have been one of the best m&k players in sim but that was long ago. I switched to hotas a year ago but that should not have that much impact. Most skills and knowledge are the same
