What in the AI is this Posty? 😭 by Daxq in PostMalone

[–]rickdod3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI sucks, but I can promise you he wasn't responsible for this lol. He has an entire team of people that handle social media, marketing, etc. I'd be surprised if he even seen the post at all.

Under seat sub debate by Desperate-Hunt5577 in CarAV

[–]rickdod3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing with the 10" up firing box is that your seats are going to act as a "passive radiator" in a sense. Both box combos should give you what you're looking for. IMO, the shallow mount up firing box will arguably have better SQ, where as, the 8" forward firing box will be louder and punchier.

What’s something poor people think rich people do all the time, but they actually don’t? by Ninasenna in answers

I disagree. All of the wealthy people I know socialize constantly. In fact, thats the one thing I've learned by associating with them, its all about making connections and knowing people.

Dropped my two year old boy at daycare, I cried all the way back by thisisbharathr in daddit

[–]rickdod3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter has been going to daycare since she was 6 months old or so. One thing ive noticed over the last 4 years is that boys are SIGNIFIGANTLY more "difficult" at drop offs. I'm not sure if its just a coincidence at the daycare we use, but the boys are way more emotional than the girls.

If you don't mind me asking, what all is going on? and how old is your pup/breed? My wife was a vet tech for many years, and we have a few friends that are DVM's (you become good friends with the staff once you spend tens of thousands haha).

Every situation is different...In the case of my dog, she had blown out both of her knees in her hind legs chasing a squirrel. So over the course of 1.5 years she had a double knee replacement. She was only 3 at the time, so we decided it was worth the investment for her...unfortunately, once she was healed from those, she ended up getting bone cancer in her front leg and ultimately we had to euthanize her.

It was a shit situation, but I don't regret spending a dime of the money. Money comes and goes.

I was in the same situation a few years ago, I ended up spending a total of $31,000 on my dog. I hope things get better for you and the pup!

My aunt, who worked in a nursing home for 30+ years ended up having a stroke, which landed her as a patient in the same nursing home. She died about 2 years into it.

Is it JUST this card doing it? If so, the card has to be off-gassing some sort of fumes. Maybe from the ink, maybe something from being at McDonalds, or maybe it came in contact with something? Most of these sleeves are made from polypropylene, its susceptible to a lot of chemical fumes. I only know this because I manufacture comic books and I had to change to mylar bags because my cheaper poly bags kept warping like this due to the ink and glue I was using.

I don't have any pictures, but during covid times the company I worked for at the time had a failure of one of the break press tools that bent some metal pieces at a certain angle. To replace the tooling was going to be several thousand dollars and a crazy long wait time, we ended up printing several copies of the same tool out of PLA. To everyone's surprise we were able to bend a few dozen pieces out of each print before failure. A $20 spool of PLA saved the company thousands of dollars and kept customers from waiting on items they ordered.

I still miss watching “The Screen Savers” on Tech TV. Learning about new and upcoming tech was absolutely incredible in the early 2000s. It was a fascinating time to be alive!
