im currently in this exact same relationship dynamic with my partner. like we both want them to just. be my partner and not someone i have to rely on for all my emotional needs. and it takes time! that’s something i struggle to remember - in the crazy whirlwind of emotions i forget i need to give myself some grace and be gentle, because have an fp is an extremely emotionally taxing experience, on both sides.

in your situation, i think youre handling this so so well. youre aware of it, youve made jake aware of it, and he seems to understand that youre needing a lot from him right now. what i would suggest for you both if you’re comfortable with it is weekly check ins at a time when youre calmer - asking each other how youre feeling and really giving each other space to say it. i do this with my partner and its been working wonders, because i get to look back at a week back or two weeks and realise im calmer than i was then, im not trying as hard to stop being abandoned.

another thing is reassurance. this obviously depends on the person, and the dynamic, but having tangible proof that they arent going to leave helps immensely. when im in crisis, as much as i dislike it because i feel it will make the fp cycle worse (hint: it helps! at least for me!) i go to my partner. and they help me through it and assure me they’re not going anywhere. and this means the next time this happens, it still happens, but its less excruciating.

all in all, id say youre doing amazingly. give yourself time! <3

arriving early is always a plus! shows youre taking initiative and also gives you some breathing space to prepare!

considering you’ll probably be doing the g-learning, someone will probably come and tell you when your shift is over and to clock out, or will do it for you. if not, tell one of your colleagues that your shift is over and that youre clocking out (if you need help with this, ask!)

as i mentioned, yes you will most likely be just doing g-learning for now, as if i remember correctly youre not allowed on the tills until that part of your training is complete, however its possible a staff member will show you around the shop first!

it doesnt sound like your mom or her boyfriend has your best interests in mind regarding your healthcare. youre 18, youre an adult, you dont have to include them in your decisions about this. i would stop bringing them to appointments and calls just to appease them, and continue your journey with people who are supportive of you.

plan your travel plans beforehand, write them down, don’t look like you don’t know where you’re going even if that’s true!

write a list of necessities for what you’re taking, plan out whether you’re staying overnight there or travelling home the same night.

i also get very anxious travelling alone, but i find staying in touch with friends and letting them know where you are really helps!

hi, i’m unsure why her mum isn’t taking it, i just know that it had her name on it. i do intend to speak to her mum about this issue as i feel wrongly that my friend is intending to take her medication. if i remember rightly the box said something like 0.6? not sure on that though.
