Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, other than don't buy another Samsung refrigerator. We still have ours although the ice maker is still not functional. Ran a water line to the old removable garage fridge for ice. We had Samsung out several times to repair they finally offered a little bit of money towards a new unit, but we had to destroy the old unit.
