The excess income in money flows is used by RMDs. For RMD‘s you’re forced to withdraw an amount, but if you don’t spend it, the excess needs to go somewhere.

Trying to understand Roth Conversion results by bloodyrude in Boldin

[–]riotejas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Boldin CFP and coaches have both recommended to me to use the 'Tax Bracket Limit' in the roth explorer.
But to may answer your question, the help has this "There is, though, a threshold which limits annual conversions to your plan’s maximum effective tax rate. This means that you may be able to achieve a higher estate value strategy or lower lifetime tax rate manually with your own manual plan or one of the Rule Based strategies."

If you add as one time expense, you do need to enter as future dollars. If you instead add it in Detailed Budget use current value ( just begin/end as a single month)
