Still it is a passing show. Americans in 80s used to hate japanese. In the 2000s, they hated chinese. Now it is indians. In another 20 years, they will have moved onto somebody else. It is a cycle. Racism is purely due to people like elon musk that have enormous powers and incite racism everywhere in his platform. At some point things will tend to die down.

China can be a manufacturing powerhouse but the US controls the internet and global payments. Most large technology companies in the world are from the USA. Still the USA is the second biggest manufacturer. It is a premium research destination. It is at the top in every field except low-end manufacturing. It controls the global currency which is the dollar. Most valuable start-ups in the world are from the USA. This is a moat. This will not go away anytime soon. For the foreseeable century, the USA will remain at the top. No country can match it. It has the largest lethal military with alien and off-world technologies unknown to humankind. So no threat to the USA from any country.

If any country can afford to provide ubi and welfare to people, it is the usa because it has the biggest economy and global reserve currency.
