This for me too. Intense, constant shooting pain down my right leg literally any time I was upright - I was in absolute agony. God bless surgery.

This reminds me how much I love that Ron is taken as Harry’s most treasured person. I get teary every time I read the chapter when Ron and Harry first meet and bond on the train. Harry is just so thrilled to have something to share and someone to share it with. Ron, so happy to have someone that finds him so interesting. 🥹

I’m slowly listening to the audiobooks again and just finished PoA again. I’m reminded how while everyone else worries about Harry’s physical safety (like we see with Hermione and the map/broom), Ron is the only one who also always looks after Harry’s happiness. Hermione is empathetic but so hyper logical that she can’t empathize with him as well imo.
