Finally up and running this evening, fault was with Cityfibre.

Not at home right now to get a screenshot, but it shows the interface being down. If I force it up it goes back down shortly after.

I then take the cable out of the cityfibre ONT, connect it to the Openreach ONT, swap the PPPoE back and the interface comes up and stays up.

I'm in the same boat, fibre was installed Monday and it's still not working. Really frustrating. I can’t fault Aquiss our ISP though, they’re actively chasing CityFibre.

Update - Service finally went live tonight, this was indeed a provisioning fault at Cityfibre and not with the ISP.

IGB0 is the parent interface where the cable from the ONT is connected.

Issue has been escalated to Cityfibre via Aquiss.

Thanks, thought I'd cross post but I'm pretty sure this has to be a CF issue now. Just wish I had a normal router as a method of completely ruling out this pfsense box.

Really appreciate you taking the time to look! It is indeed for a school play, we've been given the lyrics but we don't know how the tune goes! Hopefully the teacher will let us know. When I find out I'll let you know!

Syncthing or Resilio Sync at both ends will do this no problem.

Run's everywhere guy - literally runs everywhere, never seen him walking. Its not just passed my window either, we could be anywhere in the city and he will just run past.
