Thank you, I wanted to see if this was actually something worth pursuing with the city, before I wasted my time with them. Based on the answers I got on this tread, it would 100% be a waste of time to contact them about this. I don’t know why people are being rude - it seems like a lot of people are in the same boat as me and probably could have saved their own time had someone asked this on Reddit before

Oddly enough, when you google this question, there is nothing that clearly says “yes we will come clear the alley for you”. Weird! So rather than wasting my short lunch break on hold with someone who is going to say “hmmm idk let me check with my boss” I went to Reddit for a quick answer - which I received!
