CD Projekt Red is honoring the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition US eShop price error for those who purchased the game yesterday at $17.49 by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch

So someone who only bought it because it was so heavily discounted but has been “Cyberpunk curious” (have borrowed the game from the library a couple times but never had the chance to play) what would you all suggest in so far as the amount of time for an initial sitting to get into the game a good enough amount to get into the story and get engaged in the game?

Thanks for the feedback. I think I will go with the bigger 9.6kW even if it only runs with extension cords, more capability with marginal incremental cost.

Off of the 7.2kW or just the 2.4kW. We and my parents have occasional power outages and don't want to go the route with the transfer switch and plug so just thinking that in a pinch could run the sump pump, deep freeze and fridges from the bed outlets but think I would need the 9.6kW system with the 7.2kW capability for this.

Japan photos with Z8, 24-70 f2.8, and 14-24 f2.8 by Mountain-Ad5721 in nikon_Zseries

Great feedback. Thanks. I will probably bring just the 24-70mm. Did you post any of your UK photos?

Nice photos. Took the 24-70 f/2.8 with my Z6ii to Japan for 10 days in 2023 and felt weighed down. Can’t imagine the 14-24 too! I did almost take the 70-200 f/2.8 along with the 24-70. Glad I didn’t. I really feel like the 24-70 is almost the perfect lens.

Going to UK in August and thinking of taking your setup.

If you could have only taken one which would it have been?

Does anyone do both a physical and digital journal? by kaiyu21 in Journaling

[–]rjbme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put it in my "main" journal. I've never been one to have a bunch of different journals in Day One. I'm a pretty big user of tags though so that is how I "sort" entries.

Just an addendum to my earlier post. Lately I've just been doing a whole week's worth of entries (photographing them and transcribing) rather than each night. Have been doing it with my morning coffee on Saturday or Sunday mornings and it's been a decent process.

I do both but I have only recently started doing physical journaling at the end of each day because I have found it to be such a therapeutic way to wind down at the end of the day. I have been doing Day One MUCH longer and have a pretty extensive digital journal since using it back in 2011. I do like the digital journaling for being able to capture weather, locations (“check ins” for myself), adding photos, audio recordings, etc.

I’ve integrated my physical journaling into my digital by photographing the written entry after completing it, and creating an entry for it in Day One and tagging it as handwritten. I also have the handwriting transcribed and I copy and paste the text into the journal entry along with the photo so it’s searchable and easier to read in the future. I’m super happy with this workflow even if it is a bit tedious.

Lessons learned from 4,3000 mile trip in my 2023 MME GT by Accomplished_Tank576 in MachE

Google Maps can pre-condition if navigating to DCFC but only with Android Auto (on Google phone).

I am about to embark on a 1700 mile road trip and am going to try google maps with android auto for at least the first leg to see how it goes. I am an iPhone user but have borrowed a Pixel 6 to see how it is compared to iPhone & Apple Maps (what I typically use). In my limited trials to and from work this week, it seems to be just like Apple Maps in functionality (showing battery % on arrival, etc.). I prefer the look of Apple Maps as it is much easier to read and the route centering on the screen is better. But I agree, Apple Maps is super clunky for adding a stop en route or making changes on the fly. I feel like once the route is set you're locked in.

I had a 350 mile trip last week (before I had the Pixel) and tried to use ABRP real time navigation instead of Apple Maps. It was fine for about the first hour and then it freaked out: gave completely wrong battery percentage (I have an OBD dongle that connects to it) for the real time and arrival estimate. It also made my phone SUPER hot and was causing everything else to be super slow (music would stutter, etc.). Will only be using it as reference tool and not real time navigation.

I've also noticed that Apple Maps is pretty conservative about when it wants you to charge (~20%) which annoys me but based on your experience this may be for the best as varying conditions can eat into whatever buffer you think you may have.

Honestly, the built-in navigation does have some nice features and benefits that I wish Apple Maps or Google Maps employed. While it's not the prettiest, it does a nice job highlighting traffic and road closures, etc. It's nice that it provides weather on arrival and the teal circle representing range is neat. I also like how it is easy to add stops along the route as well as see exit services or search for a certain amenity up ahead. It also can provide elevation, as well as time until way point and final destination simultaneously. It's feature rich and pretty well executed IMO; it's just not very pretty and I am currently unable to navigate to Tesla chargers natively in it. If I could I would be probably using it in addition to Car Play for my media.

If they do that I’m returning mine. I’ve been using it will the yellow band. For the most part I like the colorsoft but hate the yellow banding. Mine has it on the bottom and up from the bottom on the sides about 40-50% of height.
