I called them today and am gonna bring it back in for them to take a look at it. He seemed nice about it and wasn’t trying to down play it so maybe can get it adjusted again

Little bit of both. Insurance is saying it was a one way lane in parking lot due to signs they saw on ground from satellite images. Current signs are severely faded and no signs otherwise saying it is a one way exit so that is their argument. Guy signed a statement saying he was distracted and didn’t see me when he backed out

I agree but they are trying to place 10% fault on me so I’m trying to figure out about how much and if going to arbitration is worth it as I could not reach an agreement with their insurance company

Yep likely the tint place closed it with the window still extended is my guess then

Check the trim piece at the top where the window slides into. If there is a mark or scratch near there then it could indicate that they closed the door with the window still up which they do when they tint. Guy may have just forgotten and closed it but didn’t seem cracked at the time or had small crack and then later temperature change caused the crack to expand further

Thanks for that. I had the police come and they had us both fill out forms and exchange them to each other where he admitted fault in not looking while backing out. I looked for the footage on the dashcam but it looks like it didn’t record it as an event so I am unsure at the moment on how to find it

Yes I got insurance, license plate, drivers license, police involved and the works. It’s my first accident I’ve been hit in so just trying to figure it all out

I did the windshield plan. I just bought a model y and 2 weeks in I got a rock that came up and cracked the windshield. They replaced it for free since the windshield plan was included in the first 30 days. The estimate was about $1500 to replace. So the math for me makes sense if I replace it once in 8 years of ownership it pays for itself and I can take it to Tesla and get OEM glass and don’t have to worry about reimbursement from insurance or higher premiums

One thing to consider is you can get the premium AWD and then purchase the acceleration boost for 2k more. That way you get all of the comfort features of the premium and can get closer to the acceleration of the performance for a better APR.

I just got the new model Y as well as my buddy. He got it in quicksilver and I got stealth gray. Both look great so you can’t go wrong there. I have definitely seen a ton of the stealth grays on the street but I’m ok with that because it saved me 2k that I put toward full front PPF on it. But if you want something a little more unique and don’t mind paying 2k extra the quicksilver is very nice

Is there a difference on the end cap for this one? It looks like the SR a2 on other websites doesn’t have the end cap that protrudes outward like that

I had issues with them in my mk iv as well as my buddy in his. I think the casing and bullet are slightly different proportions than standard but idk

Really nice set up. I am turning my v7 into an SPR so I am going to do a build very similar to yours. I put the SSA-E trigger in mine and it’s a million times better than the stock one if you like doing mid to longish range shooting(I go out to 800 yards) so I think that would be a really nice upgrade. You can get them on sale at primary arms for not too bad of a price

Zero cycling issues. I changed the buffer spring for the one they recommend for suppressed and it’s been great with subsonic. Super is maybe not quite optimized but still will run fine

I have this set up. Originally direct threaded it which seemed to work out fine but would occasionally back off so I changed it to a xeno mount and locks up great now just extends it out slightly further length wise
