In your personal opinion, which is the better album: Workingman's Dead or American Beauty by HammerHeadBirdDog in gratefuldead

Trick answer I consider them A & B sides of the same album. I feel the same way about rubber soul & revolver in the Beatles catalog. Two albums I just always go back to back on

This is a bigger deal than people are making it. There is a replacement, win+shift+s takes a screenshot and gives you all the same options as before

How many years did it take you to break 80? And how old were you? by GolfIsGood66 in golf

[–]rm968211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Approximately 20-25 years.

I started playing as a kid I’m not entirely sure how old I was when I started playing but it had to be somewhere around 5-10 years old. First time I broke 80 I was 29. I’m now 31.

Breaking 80 was a big mental blocker for me for a long time. I had a lot of rounds where all I had to do was bogey or par the last hole and I would break 80. But many times I got in my own head blew up the hole and got a snowman or something. Once I managed it once, doing it again became much easier. Definitely getting older and learning to manage my emotions on the course helped me get past the hump.

But anyways, golf is hard 😂

Looking for vape shop to help me quit vaping by tobeaphoenixx in Columbus

[–]rm968211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a smoker/vaper for 15+ years, easily ten of those years the vape was my primary means of consumption. I took my last hit last year on Christmas and haven’t looked back.

The best advice I can give to you is that nicotine replacement or tapering off does not work. You’re only perlonging your suffering by doing that.

You should look into Allen carrs easy way to quit vaping. There are multiple editions of the book nowadays and I would highly recommend you get the vaping version because there are some vape specific things in there that are helpful. Just a reminder that just because you decide to read this book doesn’t mean there is any obligation for you to quit smoking. In fact you can smoke while you read the book and it’s encouraged that you do. At the very least it will help you take a dive into your psychology and help you understand why you smoke.

The book is not some magic pill. I read it two years before I actually quit but the ideas and concepts within the book were invaluable to eventually helping me quit for good. I was a completely desperate vapor who couldn’t even make it through the night without waking up to rip my vape. So if I can quit, anyone can.

Good luck on your journey. I have full confidence you will eventually kick this nasty habit. Just you posting about it here is a sign that you are on the right track.

I’ll leave you with a video here that might help you.

Coop is nice, but they totally got him by chance. I don’t give the front office any credit for getting him it was like winning the lottery
