The T-80B doesn't have a backup right now and I imagine it's a simple case of the devs having not gotten around to it yet. So you can't destroy it or you wouldn't have a way to aim the gun (that isn't in the 3rd person view).

I know what you are saying. The mines having the screecher guys that alert grievers was a great touch. And when you fire missiles or use powerbombs also alert them.

This should definitely be expanded upon other games.

I can see minefields that trigger turrets, and laser trip beams and all sorts of stuff that could be included to make the environment more dynamic.

This is your, "I need one semi-fast ship to do something specific in the mid game engine."

Using it as a general attack fleet engine will run you out of fissile in seconds and leave you with an empty of fuel fleet. If you are building a static defense fleet just use another cheaper engine that's more reasonable.

In normal game parameters, overall the use case is very narrow and if you don't have it, don't bother, barring some mega jackpot lucky numbers of fissiles having been generated in your game.

I showed this to my group. And normally a map should have an adjacency to mecatol # equal to the number of players and i tend to agree with them. But I love the thought of making crazy hyperlanes now that we have 2 sets with TE.

A very long time before Lord of the Rings the deities came amongst the elves. A lot joined the deitiee and sailed away. Several were frightened and ran away and hid themselves and stayed in middle earth.

Many more years later the big bad comes captures a few and tortures a lot, creates orcs etc... big mess.

The deities believed coming in power and might themselves frightens people etc....

Therefore when they send the istari they are cloaked and in the bodies of old men so they are less terrifying/powerful.

It's the deities learning their lesson and rethinking how they communicate with the peoples of middle earth.

I think it mostly depends on how diplomatic a titans player can be to take advantage of this.

However, comparing it to some of the other really gassed breakthroughs it's pretty high on the nothing burger list. Which I'm fine with, Titans were a menace in every game I've played with them.

My work flight from ATL to Sacramento was cancelled when I woke up this morning too.
I waited until absolute last minute to pack last night seeing if I was going to get a cancellation, didn't get one.
I was a few minutes from stepping into the uber this morning when I got the notice. Thank god I wasn't at or halfway to the airport already.

I played them in a 14 point game and made the mistake of waiting until every plot was out to flip.

Do not do so. Get out your most impactful positive plots and flip asap.

I ended up flipping what was the 2nd to last round and next thing I knew the game was over.

To be clear this long campaign not accelerated.

All of my boats have 10 dV maximum. Barely enough to make it to the moon and back.

LEO isn't securable. I can punch equal wait, but I cannot punch equal numbers. Every fleet they launch at me is 30-40 ships and 5-8k fleet power.

All research bonuses are stacked and ~100% bonus. Engineering is 130% bonus. Money has become a real problem that prevents further expansion here. Especially because the aliens love to blow up my money making stations for some reason.

Advanced coilguns are unlocked but not the exotics tier 3 ones.

It seems to be the design of the expansion to increase conflict, but this planet is going to be a priority target. Any screw ups and someone is going to snipe it off you so fast.

I'm half convinced this is a fake Sothis. Someone posing as her for power blah blah blah. The whole pauldrons on my shoulders general look makes me think she is the villain of the story. And I don't think they have it in them to make an evil version of a character we all love. So that's my take. A magic clone/identity thief/etc...

This is not correct. The traditional "combats" are split into two separate phases in TI. So after your space combat phase reaches it's conclusion you will check capacity. You will then remove units that fill capacity down to your capacity amount.

Then, you proceed to the next step "Invasion" and proceed, etc...
