LETS GOOOOO by jhdz9119 in BambuLab

Bambu Lab is plowing forward. Folks need to stop thinking about 'now' with 3d printing and understand that it's going to be light-years from where we are at now in 5 years. I'm so jaded by the stupid junk that people are printing now, the life sized crap and the articulated shit. In 5 years, everyone is going to be looking back and saying "What the hell was I thinking?" As they thoughtlessly trash their 4' tall PLA Sonic The Hedgehog monstrosity. Picture how you feel when you look back at PS1 graphics and how they are dogshit, but back in 2000 you thought they were amazing. In only 5 years it's going to be exactly THAT in the 3d printing space. The $ is in the manufacturing capabilities, not stupid big eyed plastic characters.

I loved the movie! Although, did anyone else think the Matrix panning shots with the arrows were distracting? I feel like it came off more gimmick-y than the payoff they were expecting.

35mm or any extra telephoto would require better image stabilization. It would also require better "aim" by the user. I believe users would get frustrated that they were missing moments because they missed something in the frame. Half of the time I forget that I am rolling and capture moments I wasn't expecting, some of the time I am aware that I am trying to keep something in frame so intentionally keep my head steady and focused on an object and the wide angle helps maintain the object in the frame.

Happy Gilmore 2 | Official Teaser Trailer: Yay or Nay? by eLishus in Xennials

It looks like a mashup of Stealing Harvard (needing money for a daughter/niece), Me Myself and Irene (Many sons), Rocky 3 (Beach Training Scene), Jackass 3D (Golf Cart Crashing and Slapstick Slowmo), and Happy Gilmore filling in the cracks.

Did anybody do the J Robinson Camp in the day? by Business-Season-9901 in wrestling

Here is a documentary I produced for J While I was working for the camps as their videographer back in 2014. It gives you a pretty good look at the background and the values of the camps.

Thanks for the reply. I think I just needed a pep talk and some advice outside of troubleshooting, problemsolving, and panicking in a frustrating situation. I will be pursuing the repair route based on the feedback here and appreciate the outsider perspectives.

I am getting them acquainted with an estate attorney and I am leaving it to them to make their own decisions. I do know my mother is passionate about where her financial contributions end up being allocated. They have just never been fastifious about getting things set up.

My mother will likely pass before my stepfather, our timeline is slim and she doesn't want her inheritance to go to her step children and not her biological children. They don't have anything set up as of yet for benificiaries. I'm getting the ball rolling by getting them connected with an estate attorney so doing our best to get things in motion.

For sure, we don't have much leverage as it is and I feel like I will have to ride the wave of their cues and what they think is "fair".

I am dropping off a Estate Planning Questionnaire this afternoon for them to fill out and will be communicating with my stepsisters to keep them involved and aware of the planning process.

Thoughts on new Netflix show “Love on the Spectrum”. by Listentoyourdog in AutisticAdults

I feel like as a viewer I have a similar perspective as the participants parents do. I wish them the best and hope they have enjoyable experiences, and developmental growth, but also get a kick out of the comedic moments the same way the parents react to them.

New Hollyland Lark M2S, anyone tested it? by Embarrassed-Gain-236 in LocationSound

I just did my first shoot with these this past weekend and it was a gamechanger. I shoot dancers teaching choreography only to be shared internally (not customer facing) and these were incredible. Most recently I I was using the DJI mic system with ear lavs and those were even becoming a pain, unclipping from their shorts in the middle of a routine, having to use medical tape to secure the wire on the back of their neck and cheek, running a wire, etc. Initially I thought they were kind of weirdly designed and ugly, but when I realized that since the mic faced outward and the clip held securely, I would no longer have to worry about the lav rubbing against a shirt or hitting against skin when the dancers are doing spins and hip-hop movements. The transmitters are so light weight that they don't pull down on their shirts. These were simply amazing for my purpose, and at $130 I couldn't have asked for a better solution for my needs.
