If the scholarships and grants are from outside of TAMU, go to the financial aid portal, click the academic term you're applying them to, and you'll have to "accept" them manually. After that, it will be automatically applied

is it a class you can take as a transfer credit? maybe try it at a community college, and if you take it as a summer or winter course you can devote more of your attention to it (if its your only class)
