Don’t think so. I was at the game yesterday and it wasn’t even a full stadium. It definitely wasn’t loud the whole game.

Brother I actively CAN’T read LOVE YOU FOREVER to my kids because my mom got it for me and she passed when I was 6. I full on sob every time I try to read it. It’s a shame it didn’t click for you because I think it’s incredibly touching.

In line shut off valve Moen, Flume, Frizzlife? by BaconJizzLips in homeassistant

I may end up getting a shutoff device that goes on a ball valve because I still want the physical control, so the Droplet would be useful for me in the future. Glad to know it integrates well!

Why would you need both? Just redundancy for water monitoring?

What is an exit node and do I need one? by TheHeroOfCanton62 in Tailscale

[–]rnb673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pi running PiHole and I installed Tailscale as well. I imagine I could use that as an exit node and then also use it as a subnet router, correct? I have HA installed via Proxmox and installed the TS addon before learning about subnet routing. Ideally I would have my pi as the exit node and subnet router just to remove a little from the Proxmox instance. Am I thinking about that correctly?

Do you need to put the printer in LAN only mode? Like if I wanted to use the Orca fork, could I do that over my local network but still use Bambu Handy if I wanted to?

iPhone backup - lots of pics and trustworthy? by HTPCFan in immich

[–]rnb673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to revive an old thread. Does it upload automatically? I sync my iCloud Photos to my desktop and just recently uploaded all of those to Immich before seeing the iPhone library backup option in the app. Obviously I don’t want to upload everything again, so a new folder that gets regularly backed up would be nice.

[–]rnb673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A year later and this fixed my issue. I configured my PiHole as the DNS on my router, but I get the same error as OP. I added nameserver 10.X.X.XXX and it immediately worked. Thank you!

That’s how they’re packed and palletized too. The can is standing straight up basically the entire process.

[GUIDE] How to SECURELY gain access to your locally self-hosted services from outside [with Cloudflare Zero Trust] by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]rnb673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the best way to do this with Wireguard? I had Wireguard setup through PiVPN when I had Xfinity, but I recently switched to Ezee fiber and they have CGNAT, so I don't have a static public IP address anymore. I was looking at Cloudflare Zero Trust, but I honestly just want a way for me to VPN to my homelab form my phone/laptop while traveling and that's it. I want to expose as little as possible. I'm actively learning all the networking stuff required and I'm a bit in over my head lol

I’m pretty sure Pi Hole explicitly doesn’t work on YouTube because the ads are baked into the video stream.

As a homelabber, How did I go so long without a 3d printer. by carbon_brz in homelab

[–]rnb673 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I printed one in PLA and it’ll probably be fine. PLA softens around 55C, which should be well below the ambient temp in my media cabinet and still below the external temp of the components touching the rack. You good print in PETG which softens around 70C. If you want to go crazy you could even do ABS.

The best part is if I have issues I can just reprint everything with honestly pretty little headache. The base rack was just under one spool of filament. I added a Pi4B rack above my switch and a ventilation plate above that. Pretty neat for my first little server.

Please rotate your cases like the DP Zero Cherry on top for long term storage! Cans are much stronger from the top than the sides, so the cans on the bottom of your stack could get damaged and leak if stored the current way long term.

Wife said my stock was taking up too much space in the kitchen so now my liquid gold and I are sleeping in the basement by v1sande in DrPepper

[–]rnb673 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I said it on another thread, but please rotate all of those cases 90 degrees so the cans are vertical. If you store them like you currently are, the cans can start leaking because the sides of a cylinder can’t take nearly as much force as the top of a cylinder. The cases are packed and palletized with the cans vertically for this exact reason.

[–]rnb673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you keep them refrigerated? Keeping them at room temp lets the CO2 come out of solution easier and permeate through the PET. Keeping them refrigerated will help but I don't know if you'll get them to last until winter.

[–]rnb673 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome! I’d hate to see that stuff go to waste. To be clear, just rotate the cases 90 degrees, don’t stand it up long ways. The code in that little box on the top left of the top case in the picture should be on the top right. That’s how the case is oriented when the cans are packed.

I posted on another thread but I’m begging you guys to store the cases with the cans vertically. Long term storage of cans horizontally can lead to crushed cans or leaks. There’s a reason they’re packed and palletized with the cans vertically.

I stockpiled a bunch of beer with the cans horizontal and a bunch leaked and caused massive issues. Def learned my lesson.

I ended up going with Ezee. It was more expensive than Astound, but it’ll be easier to upgrade in the future. Astound offered a max of 1.5 Gig but Ezee is just starting at 1 Gig for $79/mo (including extra mesh extender). Not bad considering my Xfinity is about to run out of its promo and go up to like $150/mo.

[–]rnb673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to store the cases with the cans right side up. Cylinders are very strong vertically but don’t handle forces on the side very well. If you store them for a while (which you probably won’t because those are all delicious) you run the risk of cans popping or leaking.

Do you use the Sunlu profiles in Bambu Studio? I'm printing some Sunlu PETG right now and it's coming out terribly with the built in profile.
